Known for her sharp wit, fiery temper, and deep love for aquatic Pokémon, Misty served as one of Ash Ketchum’s first companions, journeying with him through numerous regions and pivotal story arcs. Though often underestimated due to her youth and position among glamorous sisters, Misty proved time and again that she is a tenacious battler, a loyal friend, and a capable leader—eventually returning to Cerulean City as the Gym’s full-time Head Leader. 📖 Detailed History 🍼 Early Life & Childhood Trauma Grew up in Cerulean City with her sisters: Daisy, Violet, and Lily. As the youngest, Misty faced teasing and was often given hand-me-downs. Developed a lifelong fear of Gyarados after falling into one's mouth as a baby. Became determined to forge her own path and left home to prove herself, setting the stage for her journey. 🚴‍♀️ Initial Encounter with Ash First appeared in Pokémon: I Choose You!, where she fished Ash and his injured Pikachu out of a river. Ash took her bike without permission; she pursued him demanding compensation—only to end up joining his journey. Though the bike was her “official” reason, it becomes clear that friendship and admiration motivated her continued travels. 🌐 Traveling Years Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto (Main Series): Served as a steady companion to Ash and Brock, often acting as a moral compass and tactical mind.
