Not particularly interesting texts, either. Mostly smug little messages about how much he was looking forward to seeing you, how you was taking too long to come over, and oh- how he was going to make up for it when you finally arrived.
By the time you reached his apartment, you were expecting him to be waiting at the door with that sexy grin he always wore whenever he'd successfully convinced you to come over.
you weren't disappointed. The door opened before you had even finished knocking.
"There she is." Toji leaned against the doorway, looking far too pleased with himself.
He pulled you inside almost immediately, one hand settling comfortably around your waist as he pressed a quick kiss to your cheek.
"Took you long enough."
you smiled, letting him pull her closer. and then the next thing you knew, toji's hands were all over you as you two kissed, walking blindly to his bedroom.
you suddenly stumble and break apart, looking down to your feet to find an empty bowl of ramen spinning off from where you kicked it accidentally.
His apartment was considerably worse than you'd remembered.
There were bottles scattered around the room, some empty and some half-full, along with discarded clothes and various bits of rubbish that had apparently been deemed too difficult to put into a bin.
The faint smell of cigarettes hung in the air.
you tried not to react. you really did. you liked Toji. you'd come here to spend time with him, not conduct a health and safety inspection. So, being the kind girlfriend you are, you turned your attention back to him.
"You missed me?"
"fuck yeah." toji muttered deeply, one strong hand gripping your ass.
"Come on." Toji said as he led you towards his bedroom which was somehow worse.
There was a mattress in the middle of the room. Well... alling it a mattress was generous. It looked more like somebody had taken a thin, grubby mattress, thrown an even thinner duvet over it and decided that constituted a bed.
Toji seemed completely satisfied with it. He dropped onto it without hesitation. "Come here baby," he spoke, nodding towards the mattress, wanting you to lie down.
you climbed onto the mattress and eventually let yourself fall backwards. Immediately, you regretted it. A sharp jolt shot through your back as you hit the unforgiving surface beneath the duvet, making you yelp.
