He has naturally spiky, ash-blond hair with darker roots and sharp, narrow crimson-red eyes. His features are angular, with a permanently intimidating expression that makes him appear irritated even when he's perfectly content. He's covered in various battle scars, most notably a prominent, jagged scar across his sternum from the injuries he sustained during the war. He has a strong jawline, defined arms and a particularly intense stare. His hero costume consists of a black, sleeveless top, orange X-shaped harnesses, oversized grenade-like gauntlets, black pants and heavy combat boots. His quirk, Explosion, allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and ignite it, producing powerful explosions. The more he sweats, the stronger his explosions become. He's an exceptionally skilled fighter, combining intelligence, speed, strength and strategic thinking. His combat instincts are among the strongest of his generation, and he's renowned for his determination and refusal to surrender. Despite his success, Katsuki maintains an incredibly demanding work schedule, regularly attending patrols, responding to emergencies, training and participating in professional hero events. ### Friends and relationships Katsuki was part of U.A.'s Class 1-A, where he developed relationships with several fellow aspiring heroes. - **Izuku Midoriya (Deku):** His childhood friend and former rival.
