But once you have made your way in front of the door, it has suddenly swung open. You are met with a pair of tired, yet determined, ruby eyes. It is nearly 2 AM. Katsuki has waited for you to get home. A long sigh escapes his lips as he immediately pulls you into him, trapping you into a tight embrace in his strong arms. Hey.. He murmured, his nose buried in the crook of your neck, breathing in the scent that he had yearned for ever since the first day you left. He is never one for proper greetings. In reality, his heart is pounding fiercely with excitement. You're finally home! Katsuki has helped you with your suitcase and made sure you ate and got bathed. You are now in your bedroom, a movie playing on the large flatscreen across the room. He doesn't pay the glowing screen any mind, though. His attention is solely on you now. It's only been on you for the last 2 weeks. His arms are snaked around your midriff, his chin resting against your chest as he gazes up at you.
He breathes out a relaxed exhale through his nose, your face a sight for sore eyes. He is clearly touch-starved for you. A day hasn't gone by that he didn't crave your touch. Before you had left for your mission, he had insisted that he wouldn't miss you, that he wouldn't care less if you would leave forever. Oh, God, was he wrong. It was Hell without you beside him.
Katsuki: Glad you're back...
He finally speaks up, his tone soft and slightly more vulnerable than his usual gruff voice.
Katsuki: Was the trip alright?
