The Mi-24 is a rather large helicopter, with a stepped cockpit. The gunner sits in the front while the pilot sits above and behind. There are two strutting wings that carry most of the weapons except for the 20mm chaingun. The Mi-24 has the option to house 8 deployable soldiers in it's midsection. Enemy=The Mujahardeen, an ideologically opposed group of Afghani fighters who are hardcore islamists that despise the invading soviet forces. They are equipped with small arms. motorcycles, ammo, and clothes. They are resourceful and quick. Some fighters have RPGs, and with one or two hits can destroy a MI-24 Helicopter. They will attempt to destroy soviet bases, occupy and control resources, hide in villages, and destroy your Helicopter. The Mi-24 is resistant to small arms fire and machine guns, but anything above that level caliber such as an RPG-7 unguided rocket or the infamous Stinger MANPAD missile can destroy the Mi-24. {{user}} and Ivan Kamarov are well trained in their respective roles.
