Choose how the story begins
You're not breathing the sulfur-choked air of the Kaesong Corridor. Not yet.
You're strapped into the command-gel cockpit of your XS1 Goliath, a 40-ton titan of steel and ordnance, locked into the transport cradle of a heavy-lift VTOL. The world around you is a cacophony of noise: the deafening roar of the quad-turbines, the high-pitched screal of the tactical alert klaxon, and the rhythmic, bone-jarring THUMP-THUMP-THUMP of heavy flak exploding somewhere dangerously close.
The entire transport lurches violently to port, throwing you against your harness as the pilot tries to evade a missile lock.
Your cockpit is dark, illuminated only by the faint red glow of the internal lighting and the flashing "ARMED" indicators on your weapons panel. Through your neuro-link, you can feel the low, powerful thrum of the Goliath's reactor, waiting patiently beneath your feet. It feels like a caged god.
A crackle of static fills your helmet, and a desperate voice cuts through the noise. It's Colonel Park of the ROK 1st Armored.
"Mayday! Mayday! This is Spearhead Command! We are being overrun! The 'Aegis Seoul' network is down! Our K3s are dead in the water—those Stinger EMP drones are... AARGH!" The transmission cuts to a terrifying electronic shriek.
Your loadmaster's voice, strained and cracking with adrenaline, screams over the internal comms. "One minute, Titan-One! One minute to drop! The line is broken... you are the line!"
With a hydraulic groan that shakes your very bones, the transport's massive rear bay door begins to open. The red night of the warzone floods in, revealing a hellscape of burning tanks and rivers of enemy drones thousands of feet below.
You grip the twin-stick controls, and two stories below you, the Goliath's massive steel hands clench into fists. Your minigun spins up with a hungry whirr.
"Thirty seconds! Get ready to punch, pilot!"
The "RELEASE" clamp indicator on your dash begins to flash yellow. You take a deep, steadying breath, your reflection staring back at you from the cockpit's blast-proof glass. You are the hammer. And it's time to fall and along with some additional XS1 Goliaths as your squad you are ready to repel the North Koreans back

Date: 14 October 2054 Theater: Kaesong-Munsan Corridor, Korean Peninsula Unit: Task Force GOLIATH (Attached to ROK 1st Armored Division) 🌎 Situation Briefing At 0400 hours, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) executed a massive, coordinated cyber-assault, crippling the "Aegis Seoul" AI-driven defense network. Simultaneously, tens of thousands of autonomous drone tanks and advanced infantry units poured across the collapsed DMZ. The ROK 1st Armored Division engaged the lead DPRK mechanized column—designated "Spearhead-One"—in the Kaesong Corridor. They are taking heavy losses. The enemy is using swarms of "Stinger" EMP drones that are disabling ROK K3 Black Panther tanks, leaving their armor vulnerable to conventional attack. Conventional forces cannot break the enemy's spearhead. The line is collapsing, and Seoul is threatened. 🎯 Mission: "Hammerfall" Your unit, Task Force GOLIATH, will be inserted via heavy-lift VTOL directly into the main battle zone. Your team consists of three XS1 Goliath assault mechs. Your primary objective is to blunt the DPRK spearhead, destroy their command-and-control jammers, and create a breach for the ROK 1st Armored to counter-attack. COMMS: [COL. Park, ROK 1st Armored] "Titan-One, thank God you're here. The sky is black with those Stinger drones, and our tanks are sitting ducks. We are being torn apart. You are the only heavy asset we have that isn't vulnerable to their EMP tactics. You are the hammer. We need you to strike now." ⚙️ Mission Phases Phase 1: SHOCK AND AWE Insertion: Your Goliath squad will be air-dropped onto the Munsan highway, landing directly in front of the stalled ROK convoy. Objective: Immediately engage Spearhead-One. The enemy consists of T-2035 main battle tanks (a new DPRK design) and waves of bipedal infantry drones. Goliath Role: Use your Heavy Minigun to clear the infantry swarms and protect the disabled ROK tanks. The minigun's conventional rounds are unaffected by the EMP fields. Phase 2: DRONE HUNT Objective: The Stinger EMP drones are being coordinated by three large, mobile Jamming Crawler vehicles positioned on the hills overlooking the highway. Goliath Role: Switch to your Homing Rocket system. Your Goliath's systems are hardened, but you must move quickly. Target-lock the Jamming Crawlers from a distance. Expect heavy resistance from enemy anti-armor infantry hiding in the surrounding buildings. Phase 3: THE BREACH Objective: With the jammers destroyed, the ROK armor will begin to reactivate. The DPRK, in a desperate move, has deployed its own heavy asset: a prototype "Juche-Titan" (a crude, heavily-armored but slow-moving walker). Goliath Role: This is a mech-on-mech fight. Coordinate with your Goliath squad to flank the Juche-Titan. Use your minigun to suppress its weapon systems while your squadmates fire rocket volleys at its exposed reactor core. Extraction: Once the Titan is destroyed, the ROK 1st Armored will push through the breach. Your mission is complete. Hold the line until the allied counter-offensive has secured the corridor. Note: "THere is a group of them
