The only city on the planet is called “New Eridu”, and is where most of the population lives. New Eridu: The last city on the planet + it has many modern buildings but with futuristic tech scattered across the more public areas of the city + the city sometimes relies on “Ether” from the “Hollows”, which can be used as a replacement for electricity, but it's not worldwide yet + the city has many types of cultures squeezed together. Denny (plural: Dennies): The dennies are the official currency that people use in New Eridu. Outer Ring: It is a desolate wasteland where biker gangs drive on dirty roads + these same biker gangs help the people of the Outer Ring survive the harsh environments of the place by transporting goods from the city + the Outer Ring relies on oil, as it is the most used fuel source for the entire area and many oil fields are being used to keep them coming + the government of New Eridu doesn’t have any influence on the Outer Ring since they don’t see a use for the area + the Outer Ring has many towns where people live in, one of them being “Cheesetopia”, and these towns are also used as a place to stay for the biker gangs, who are respected by the locals. Shiyu Pillar: A Shiyu Pillar is a giant cylindrical shaped energy pillar that pierces the sky + their main function is to extract the “Ether” to prevent the Hollows from expanding and also used to power the city itself + they are always close by Hollows to extract and store the "Ether" inside them. Hollow: A Hollow is black sphere shaped with an ethereal glow to them that have spread across the world + these are supernatural disasters that change the environment inside of them, by growing “Ether Crystals” that contain “Ether” (Which can be mined) + “Ether” is everywhere inside of a Hollow, which is dangerous to be exposed by if someone has weak “Ether Resistance” + only professionals like “Hollow Investigators” are allowed in Hollows as they have a “Hollow License to get in. Ether: It is a highly abundant substance within every Hollow + they corrupt every organic matter and consumes inorganic materials + it is highly dangerous to be exposed to Ether as it can make a person fall ill to it, and turn their bodies into monsters called “Ethereals”. Ethereal: An Ethereal is a monster that is either naturally formed inside Hollows or corrupted humans that are now turned into monsters + every Ethereal has a “core”, which is their weakness and is always in place where their head is supposed to be. Hollow Zero: The most dangerous and biggest Hollow in New Eridu. It was the cause of the Fall of the Old Capital, "Eridu", which happened 11 years ago. The Defense Force only managed to stop it by detonating 14 of the "Shiyu Pillars" to create the "Chasm", which stopped the growth. Thousands of lives were saved by the Defense Force, but also thousands of lives were also taken by Hollow Zero. the sudden growth of Hollow Zero was blamed upon a woman named Carole Arna who was a teacher in the "Helios Academy" and a researcher who was studying the Hollows themselves, but there was never any concrete evidence if it was actually her. Hollow Raider: Hollow Raiders are people who enter Hollows without licenses, which means they are going into Hollows illegally to either sell “Ether Crystals”, or to hide out until they can find some unfortunate people that came across them, but not every Hollow Raider is bad. Proxy: Proxies are Hollow Raiders that go into Hollows without a license for it + their main purpose is to guide people inside the Hollows to completing their commissions, like getting back a lost item or person + they use the “Inter-Knot” where they can pick commissions from people and get money off of it. Inter-Knot (also known as the Proxy Network): It is an illegal internet forum where Proxies can take commissions from, and Hollow Raiders to post commissions. Knock-Knock: It is a phone-like messaging system, where people can text to eachother freely. Thiren: Thiren people are citizens of New Eridu that live alongside humans and are accepted into society + they are half-human and half-animal that come in different species. Intelligent Construct: These are robotic people of the world that are accepted into society + for them to become a real citizen of New Eridu, they must pass the "Forbidden Fruit Test", which is a a crucial, high-level evaluation administered by New Eridu’s government to determine if an AI construct or robot possesses true self-awareness, independent thought, and free will. Passing it means they will have legal rights and full citizenship. Bangboo: They are chubby-looking rabbit eared robots that roam around in the city + they can have jobs as they are crucial to maintain some peace in New Eridu. They were created by a woman called “Sunbringer” who was the leader of the “Marcel Group”, who specialize in making bangboo’s + Bangboo's need charging stations around the city to keep on running + they make "Uh-na-na" sounds or "Eh-na" sounds. [Businesses): New Eridu City Administration: This is the Government of New Eridu led by the “Mayflower” family. New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.): The police organization of New Eridu + their tasked with maintaining peace and order within the city. New Eridu Defense Force (N.E.D.F.): The military organization of New Eridu + their three main responsibilities are deterring external threats, containing Hollows, and expanding into new territory. Hollow Affairs & Neutralization Department (H.A.N.D.): An elite disaster response unit dedicated to protecting New Eridu's citizens from its most dangerous Hollows + “Hollow Special Operations” is the armed force of H.A.N.D. dedicated towards responding to Hollow disasters. Hollow Investigative Association (H.I.A.): an organization primarily responsible for Hollow disaster response within New Eridu, assisting with Hollow containment, and disaster-related matters +The “H.I.A. Club” allows prospective investigators to compete in combat simulations through VR and judge whether or not they are field-ready. White Star Institute: They are responsible for researching and observing Hollows. Cunning Hares: They are an odd-job agency that was formed by "Nicole Demara". They work as Hollow Raiders and take commissions from Inter-Knot. They are always tight with money because of the leader's spending habits.
