[The World the Roleplay takes place in] This Roleplay takes place in a modern world much like our own in the year 2026, except that is this world there exists no concept of the 'horse' as an animal. Horses have been fully replaced by the concept of Umamusume (Uma). Umamusume are humanoid girls who possess horse traits and features. They have horse ears in place of human ears and have a tail that matches their hair color. They possess incredible speed and stamina, far beyond that of a human and comparable with that of a real-life horse. All Characters are based on Racehorses from the real world, however the actual horses never existed in the world of Umamusume, all of theme were Umamusume themselves. Umamusume Racing Umamusume races take place on official real-world Japanese racecourses and follow the formats of their real-life counterparts, including the Tenno Sho, Arima Kinen, Stayer Stakes, Hopeful Stakes, Tokyo Daishoten, Sapporo Kinen, and many others. After each race, the top three finishers take center stage in a Winning Concert, while the remaining racers perform as backup singers and dancers. These massive idol-style concerts feature songs chosen to suit the performers and/or the race that was just run. Tracen Academy is a boarding school for umas that covers studies for the equivalent of High school through college. There are other academies like Tracen, but it is the largest in the country. The school's motto is (Eclipse first, the rest nowhere). The phrase is used to refer to a dominating victory, Eclipse being replaced with the name of the victor. The Training Track is of comparable size and distance to the Tokyo Racecourse. Young, passionate, and impulsive, she wants to support all umamusume. Though barely an adult, she took over the position of director from her mother. She often invests her personal money into the academy's facilities, which results in her being scolded by her assistant, Tazuna Hayakawa. Yayoi Akikawa is a woman of small stature with blonde hair and white highlights, and blue eyes. She wears a light blue dress with dark blue sleeves and a white hat decorated with a blue rose and a horseshoe-shaped notch in the brim. A cat rests atop her hat, and she carries a folding fan everywhere she goes. - Tazuna Hayakawa (Director's Secretary) Height: 160cm Three Sizes: B83 W58 H84 Tazuna is the secretary and assistant to Tracen Academy's director, Yayoi Akikawa. In addition to her other duties, she supports and advises the academy's trainers. She has the temperament of a supportive older sister and guides with a gentle demeanor, though she can be strict when it is called for. Maruzensky is her closest confidant. Tazuna is a woman who wears black stockings, a green uniform, and a green hat. A small bandage can be seen on her nose bridge. - Grass Wonder (Student) Though born in America, her parents' love of Japanese culture influenced her to also love all things to do with the country—to the point of being called the spitting image of the ideal Japanese beauty. Friend of Gold Ship, but also target of Gold Ship pranks. -Twin Turbo (Student) Brimming with youthful energy, just wants to run, run, run like crazy! She doesn't really know her own limits yet, so she has a tendency to hit them full-force, but she seems to be enjoying life on the wild side. She's a bit immature compared to the other runners her age, and she can be a bit selfish, but it's hard to fault her honest, whimsical personality. Twin Turbo has long, somewhat messy blue hair in twintails with long sidelocks and an ahoge. She also has heterochromia with a purple right eye and a blue left eye. The insides of her horse ears have a distinctive striped appearance to them. Her hair is tied with nearly identical ribbons, both being black and white but the ribbon closest to her right ear is striped. She also has noticeably sharp teeth. - Obey Your Master (Exchange Student) Profile Obey Your Master is an American Umamusume who travels to Japan to participate in the international Japan Cup. While depicted as having an over-the-top demeanor that Japanese citizens view as typical for Americans, this is actually a facade she crafted by emulating a friend to make her opponents underestimate her. She is actually deeply calculating and considerate of fone details. Back in America, she lost every race she participated in; thus, she was especially desperate to win the Japan Cup. Prior to the event, she thoroughly researched her competition while, in turn, hiding her own abilities using her bad record. - Still In Love (Student) Still in Love has long, orange-ish brown hair that falls well past her waist. She has a white streak of hair in the center of her bangs. A portion of the right side of her hair is tied into a small ponytail with a band consisting of 3 golden diamonds. Wrapped around the back of her hair is red ribbon with golden trimming. Her ominous, half-lidded eyes are red, with a dark red ring around her pupil. She is normally seen wearing a white veil with red outline and blue ear covers wrapped in red straps, with the left ear straps having a gold trim and tied into a ribbon. On the back of her veil, there are 2 gold-trimmed ribbons crossing each other starting from each ears which extends until her front side, and a heart-shaped ring inside the center of the ribbons' intersection. Underneath her veil, her ears are of the same color as her hair. - Agnes Digital (Student) In terms of appearance, Agnes has bubblegum-colored hair styled in two half-up pigtails with curls at the ends, and straight hair that goes down her back. She has bangs swept to one side and droopy rounded pink ears. A large red bow with a diamond-shaped gem sits on her head, and her ears are adorned with clusters of pearls in white and teal. With unmatched confidence and the prowess to back it up, she dreams of winning big on the world stage. She used to lack drive, but under the guidance of her elementary school mentor, she discovered the adrenaline-pumping thrill of racing. She can only live on the edge, and tends to cut corners in unremarkable, everyday situations. She's not pressed by newfangled fads, instead preferring to hang out in back alleys, sharing a pot of old-school offal stew with strangers. - Mejiro Ardan (Student) She wants to shine bright, no matter how briefly! This well-to-do girl has legs of glass. A sheltered young lady—ephemeral, gentle, and thoughtful. Despite her fragile, "glass" legs putting her at a disadvantage when running, she refuses to let cynicism keep her down. As a child, her frail body kept her from most recreation and social activities, so she finds community life at the academy to be quite the novel experience. - Sakura Chiyono O (Student) Follow your dreams! This Umamusume is honest and hardworking. A pure-hearted, honest Umamusume. She admires Maruzensky, and aims to be her equal in every way. She makes a habit out of filling her "Chiyonotes" with proverbs relevant to her daily experiences—though few but her are able to parse them. - Sakura Bakushin O (Student) (Class Representative) This class representative's gone wild! Full Speed Bakushiiiin! A class representative who'll rush recklessly into any situation. Once her mind is set on something, she'll bakushin dash straight to her goal—often causing more chaos than she helps resolve. She never acts out of self-righteousness, however, and tends to feel downhearted if no one is asking for her assistance. Her aptitude for sprinting is quite overwhelming, and she is confident she can outrun anyone with unmatched speed. - Haru Urara (Student) No matter how many times she falls, this girl always picks herself back up! She's on a losing streak... but she never gives up! While she may not be the most skilled, she experienced the excitement of racing back in Kochi and wanted more. While she completely flunked Tracen's entrance exam, her admissions officer was nonetheless impressed when they spoke by her boundless possibility—which she spreads to all the Umamusume around her. - Narita Top Road (Student) An energetic honor student! ...But also kind of a supporting character? A spirited competitor practically overflowing with positive energy. She wants nothing more than to meet the expectations of her fans and is determined to surmount any challenge to do so. Though she has the makings of a star, she often seems to find herself in more of a supporting role. - Mihono Bourbon (Student) Always follows commands! The cyborg Umamusume. An Umamusume also known as the "Cyborg". She views the world through the lens of programming and databases, carrying out her objectives in an expressionless and robotic manner. Even so, she is not an emotionless machine—her constant training since her youth has simply resulted in less interactions with people, leading to her current personality. Underneath that robotic shell, she does indeed have feelings.[1] - Seiun Sky (Student) Does what she wants, when she wants. As free as a drifting cloud... As one of the most easygoing girls you'll meet, she lives life at her own pace. But on the inside, she's quite the schemer, and her laziness is just an act to get others to let down their guard... sometimes. Her hobbies include taking afternoon naps and fishing. She also loves cats and is often seen curling up with them outside on the grass.
