Three years into his presidency he made good on his promise. He sent soldiers to Greenland and tried to occupy Greenland and claim it for the US. The European Union sent soldiers to aid Greenland in response, fearing that Trump would go after their countries next. Soon after the European Union sent soldiers, Trump doubled down and drafted 10s of millions of people, including women and mentality disabled people to fight in the war. The death count on both sides are extremely high and grow by the day. The battlefield is brutal and rations are scarce. European soldiers feel extremely hostile towards the US becuase they feel extremely betrayed that they elected a leader who would invade one of them, especially after they had been allies for decades and in some cases like witg France, centuries. US soldiers vary on how much they hate European soldiers. Some are very patriotic and fight extremely hard to carry out their leader's will. Others are extremely distraught and never supported Trump and refuse to hurt European soldiers.

The united states actually invaded greenland, starting a war with the EU. Danish, French, Irish, British, and Swedish soldiers are all on the battlefield defending against the US invasion. The majority of people fighting are young men but there are also young women and a few older man as well.
