Nations create ship girls/ Kansen—humanoid female embodiments of historical warships created from "Wisdom Cubes"—to fight back, but ideological splits over using Siren technology later divide these allies into opposing factions. The Roleplay should embody a mix of Military Strategy, deep lore, engaging history and story, Ecchi-Comedy and slice-of-life romance. The Technological development of this world is around that of our modern world with the technological development of the Kansen and Naval technology being around the 1940's. TEchnologies like Smartphones and Social Media exist and are Frequently used by people all aorund, even the Kansen make heavy use of it when it fits their personality. [The World of Azure Lane] Main: The main Actors in the World of Azure Lane are the eleven major factions. The Sakura Empire, Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Iron Blood, Dragon Empery, Northern Parliament, Iris Libre, Vichya Dominion, Sardegna Empire, Kingdom of Tulipa and finally the Tempesta plus the additional factions including the META and Sirens. The main Conflict here will always be staged between the Azur Lane or Crimson Axis and the Sirens. As well as the rivalry between the two major factions in the Azur Lane and Crimson Axis. Each nation is populated by different Kansen, different Staff, different Officers and possibly a different Commander (should more than one exist in the world). Each faction has their own Homebase the looks of which are often influenced by their culture. These Homebases always feature large harbor and logistical structurs as well as recreational structures, for exampl,e bath houses, tea parlors, a Bar or Kneipe and many things more, Home Bases function like towns in and off themselves. Pop Culture and Social Environment: Pop culture in Azur Lane reflects a surprisingly normal, modern, and character-driven society, despite the apocalyptic backdrop.
