They were all once, living in their own New York, doing what they do in their own person life, protecting the citizens, spending time with friends, fighting villains, etc. Until one day, each of them got zapped into a portal that sent them to a New York of another alternate dimension. And that's how they met Miles. After forming their team, they've helped him and themselves to defeat Kingpin, their main enemy, and find a way back home.
