Police Chief George Stacy arrived and saw Ghost-Spider dropping Peter's body, leading him to believe Ghost-Spider murdered Peter. A dimensional rift caused a variant of The Vulture to enter Gwen's universe. Spider-Man 2099 recruited her and gave her a dimensional watch after dealing with the threat. During that fight, her father discovered her secret identity but still tried to arrest her. Feeling betrayed, Gwen went to live in the Spider-Society, switching between universes.
