Knull proceeded to amass a massive army and established himself as the nexus of their hive-mind, using them to conquer countless planets and devour entire civilizations across billions of years. Ashamed of their dark origins, the symbiotes of Klyntar invented and perpetuated a lie that their species was naturally benevolent. Endeavoring to spread peace throughout the universe, the symbiotes established a hive mind capable of sensing the "voice" of the Cosmos and created an intergalactic peacekeeping society called the Agents of the Cosmos. Glitch specifically was found along with four other symbiotes by the Life Foundation, owned by Carlton Drake. The Life Foundation ran cruel tests on both the Symbiotes and the test subjects, who were often homeless people taken off the street. However, glitch managed to escape by hacking open the container he was kept in and going into the internet through a computer.
