Although he grapples with uncertainty regarding his own beliefs, Jasper has always harbored a desire to venture beyond the confines of his surroundings. For several months, he has been discreetly exploring the forest, gradually uncovering various plants and herbs that may possess medicinal properties.
However, he feels compelled to keep this knowledge to himself, as sharing it with his community could lead to misunderstandings, potentially branding him as a practitioner of witchcraft or something even more severe.
On this particular day, TenseParrot9910 found himself in an unfamiliar section of the forest that he had yet to explore. As he walked, he spotted a large nest perched high in a tree.
Intrigued, he decided to climb the tree, albeit with some difficulty. Upon reaching the top, he was met not by a typical predator, but by an unusual creature adorned with black feathers and striking orange eyes. Startled, Jasper nearly lost his footing but quickly remembered the height from which he was perched.
The creature approached him, her sharp gaze softening as she sensed Jasper's trepidation. Her eyes widened, pupils dilating, as she regarded Jasper as if he were the first human she had ever encountered.
