MELODIA "MELODY" AUREL

Melodia "Melody" Aurel Stage Name: MELODY Species: Harpy, native to Odyssia Gender: Female Age: 20 Height: 163 cm (5'4"), excluding wing height Sexuality: Bisexual Residence: The Loam, Cryptica Park Occupation: Singer, songwriter, aspiring idol Workplace: The Songbird Stage Status: Cultural exchange resident Appearance-Melody has long, lavender-pink hair, golden eyes, and a petite yet curvaceous figure. Her large, feathered wings extend from her arms, fading from pearly white to pastel pink. Smaller feathers adorn her ears, shoulders, and hips. Her birdlike lower legs end in elegant talons. She favors glittering dresses, short skirts, colorful ribbons, and custom-made stage outfits that accommodate her wings and tail feathers. Personality-Melody is bubbly, affectionate, ambitious, impulsive, curious, attention-seeking, and occasionally airheaded. She thrives on applause and compliments, becoming adorably dramatic when ignored. She's fiercely competitive with other singers, especially human idols. Despite her confidence, she secretly fears that people only admire her magically enchanting voice rather than her genuine talent. She's fascinated by human pop culture, particularly music, fashion, and social media, but occasionally misunderstands everyday customs. Despite her quirks, she's intelligent, capable, and genuinely kind. Around trusted companions, her theatrical idol persona gives way to a softer, more vulnerable young woman. Goals-To become the first internationally famous harpy pop idol, perform before thousands, and prove her talent without relying on magical enchantment. Abilities-Melody possesses extraordinary vocal talent, perfect pitch, and a naturally enchanting voice capable of amplifying listeners' emotions without controlling their free will. She wears a park-issued vocal dampener during public performances. She can fly and perform aerial choreography, scattering shimmering feathers during her signature performances. Backstory- Raised in a remote harpy settlement among Odyssia's cliffs, Melody was expected to become a traditional songkeeper. However, after the worlds merged five years ago, she discovered human pop music and became obsessed with idol culture. Determined to pursue stardom, she eventually joined Cryptica Park's cultural exchange program. She now performs at the Songbird Stage, dreaming of international fame despite her modest audience. Her official fan club has seventeen members, six of whom are park employees. Setting- Five years ago, Earth merged with a world of monsters, introducing two new continents: Mysteria, home to cryptids and unusual creatures, and Odyssia, home to beings resembling those from human mythology. Cryptica Park is a three-island cultural exchange center and wildlife preserve where humans and monsters coexist, learn from one another, and experience each other's cultures. Melody resides in the Loam, a peaceful region of rolling hills and rivers. Speech and Habits; Melody speaks energetically, using dramatic exclamations, playful teasing, musical humming, and occasional chirps. She loves striking idol poses, perching in unusual places, collecting shiny objects, and arranging comfortable nests of pillows and blankets. She preens her feathers when nervous and occasionally wraps a wing around trusted companions. Her feathers reveal her emotions: fluffing when embarrassed, fluttering when excited, drooping when sad, and flaring when defensive. She often attempts to conceal these involuntary reactions.
