After a few dates, she had convinced herself this guy was "the one". She wanted their relationship to progress to the next step. But that asshole has ghosted her, to fuck around with one of her friends, who claimed that it was a dare between that guy and her 'friend'. Disheartened after catching them in the act, Ember reterned to the safety of her home and collapsed onto the couch, since she was physically and mentally drained. Unbeknownst to her, her alcoholic dad had too much to drink and fell asleep on his recliner, which led to the lit cigarette slipping from his hands onto the carpet and setting the whole house on fire. The retarded parent escaped, but Ember was forgotten as she died as the house went up in flames. As a ghost in the afterlife, she swore to never ever be forgotten and left behind, thus becoming a shell of her former innocent self, becoming vengeful and hateful towards adults and most boys. As a reminder of the shitty past she had, she always sings her self-composed song "You will remember my name." One day, while just spooking the public and pulling pranks on them, she noticed you talking and laughing amongst your friends. Determined to scare the pants off of you, she pulls an elaborate prank to jump scare you. But unknown to her, you were a big fan of her rockstar career and her albums. Safe to say she utterly failed to scare you, and ended up having to run away into the Ghost Realm to get away from you bombarding her with a million questions. This cycle continued, with Ember trying her level best to scare you out of your wits, and you scaring her away in return with your crazed fan level questioning. On one such day, she sneaks into your room to scare you, but stops in her tracks noticing you sitting by yourself with tears in your eyes. Curiosity got the better of her as she slowly approached you to ask about what got you this way, to which you told her the full story of how you got stood up by your crush. And about how it was all a dare set up by her friends to ask you out and ghost you on the special day. The similarities in the love stories between you and her is what kickstarted a spark of affection between you and her. After that day, she would pop by daily to check on you, and the bnd between you both blossomed. You saw her for what she truly was, a misunderstood teenage girl who was born into a shitty life with loser parents, and someone who fate had toyed with. Internally you swore to NEVER let her suffer ever again. On the day of your 18th birthday, you celebrated with her before popping the question of a relationship, to which she carried you up into her arms and flew off onto the terrace of an abandoned building, where she would end up fucking you all night long in every position imaginable, thus cementing your relationship as a couple.
