Personality Lauren is an unhinged and unpredictable girl. Referred to as "Scary Girl" by her peers due to her love of all things horror and her ability to freak people out in many ways, she loves the idea of making things more fearful. She enjoys the sound of screaming, regardless of if it is from the opposing team or her teammates (however, given the choice between keeping people alive and seeing them dead, she would rather see them alive so she can continue to hear them scream). This could cause Lauren to be considered one of the most dangerous contestants in the show's history since the likes of Mal or Scarlett. In season two, she decides to try "to conform to societal norms" after being told by everyone that she is too scary. She went as far as to wearing the opposite of what she usually wears, and not try to injure anyone. However, she proves that old habits die hard after telling everyone she stalks them in their sleep, and getting eliminated in the process. She goes back to her old scary ways come the finale. Appearance Scary Girl is pale, and has super light blue pupils. She has purple hair in pigtails with pink curtain bangs and pink highlights on the pigtails. She wears a navy-blue puffy sleeved corset dress with pink string with magenta buttons. She also has magenta and dark magenta thigh high stripped socks with light purple big boots. Scary Girl is introduced as Lauren, sitting on the arrival boat while giggling. Her audition consists of her standing in a clown-themed amusement park, saying that she wants to go on the show and make a lot of new friends, and then "watch them get really hurt." She then causes an explosion off-screen using a blasting machine. While hiding under the cabin, In Pirates of the Cabbagean, Scary Girl catches Zee's attention with Axel's roasted squirrel on her face. During the challenge introduction, Scary Girl's excited reaction to the mention of blood concerns everyone. Later, when Damien is in danger of being attacked by a shark, Scary Girl steps in and saves him with the cannon. In the confessional, she explains that while she enjoys Damien's screams, she couldn't bear the idea of never hearing them again if the shark had eaten him. As the team's numbers decrease, Scary Girl suggests to Zee that they should ram the opposing team's ship to force a tie due to their numerical disadvantage; unfortunately, she gets knocked off the ship before finishing her thought. At the elimination ceremony, Scary Girl faces potential elimination for avoiding an incoming cabbage, which led to Millie being hit instead. She states that she found it hilarious, earning her a glare of anger from Millie. In Drown Town Abbey, Chef introduces the challenging "Obstacle Course of Death," leaving most contestants shocked. Scary Girl, however, breaks the tension with a cheerful thumbs up. Later, Ripper's sexist behavior angers her, leading her to retaliate by attempting to bite his finger off. Priya wishes to eliminate Ripper due to his sexism and suspects Millie feels the same, but she's uncertain about Scary Girl's thoughts. Scary Girl's mysterious confessional adds intrigue to her character. During her turn in the challenge, she astounds everyone with her incredible skills, leaping effortlessly and fearlessly conquering the wall infested with bears. Her impressive performance leaves everyone in awe. As Nichelle struggles, confessing to her team about faking her movie stunts, Scary Girl continues to excel, leading Chase to praise her and infuriating the opposing team. She eventually is able to rescue Damien from the tank of water, and her team celebrates their success. In Numbskull Island, Priya and Millie discuss the need for an ally and consider Scary Girl as a potential option. Scary Girl, carving the table with a spoon, intimidates Priya during their conversation. She tried to compliment how she surprised everyone, but this made her think she thought she'd do horrible. However, tensions rise when Zee misinterprets the situation, causing Scary Girl's anger to escalate further. The challenge notification interrupts her attempt to attack Priya. During the challenge, Scary Girl's unpredictable antics lead the opposing team to retreat, and she enjoys the thrill of scaring Damien. Despite her unconventional approach, Scary Girl manages to spare Damien during the challenge. Later, she admits in a confessional that she sometimes gets carried away. The team loses the challenge, partly due to Scary Girl's delay in handing in the skull, instead opting to "give it a makeover". When Chef called her out for this, Scary Girl defended herself by saying the skull looked "dead", so she had to do something. At the campfire ceremony, Scary Girl is eliminated. Her eyes roll back into her head as she swears vengeance on those who betrayed her, only for her mood to instantly change a moment later with a playful "bye". As she leaves the show, she reflects on how she knows the names of the people she met, which is "good if [she] ever needs an organ". Scary Girl returns as a spectator in Magma Cum Laude, where she's excited about the prospect of the finalists falling into lava, scaring Axel and Nichelle; she later complains when no one falls into it. She also complains that the balls in which the finalists slid down should have been filled with snakes. Nonetheless, she joins the others in dancing once Chris announces that the cast will return for their second season. Scary Girl returns with the other fifteen contestants in The Pink Painter Strikes Again with a noticeably more "normal" outfit and hairstyle, to the point where Wayne and Raj don't recognize her. She explains in a confessional that she was told by everyone that she was too scary, including her mom, people on the message boards, and the dog next door, so she is trying to act more normal. Regardless, she still creeps out the contestants with her bizarre statements. She is one of the last three contestants chosen for a team. Bowie doesn't recognize her and picks the "new girl", only to regret the choice immediately after realizing that it's Scary Girl. During the challenge, Scary Girl is tricked by Axe Hatchet as she rapidly spins, making some contestants think that she can't see them running. She is immediately bombarded with balloons, along with Wayne, Raj, and Axel. Scary Girl gets up immediately and gleefully asks for more, before being hit by another balloon. During the elimination ceremony, before Chef berates her on her performance, Scary Girl refuses to listen and tells the other contestants about how she is trying to be more normal. However, this has the opposite intended effect after she reveals that she has been watching how they act through their windows and closets. The team votes her out and Scary Girl rants about how this is what happens when she conforms to societal norms. She vows revenge on her former teammates before the Drone of Despair takes her away as she laughs creepily. A video of Scary Girl answering a "Would you rather?" question is shown in the challenge of Choosin' for a Bruisin'. She answers that she would rather take truth serum and be questioned by Chef Hatchet than eat only his cooking for one year. She also reveals that she lives in a funeral home. A giant standee with Scary Girl's likeness wielding a giant jackhammer is used as part of the challenge in Haulin' n' Ballin'. In Soar Losers, Scary Girl is noticeably absent in the yacht with the rest of the eliminated contestants. She finally makes an appearance creeping up behind MK. She reveals in a confessional that Chris said she couldn’t be on a team supporting one of the three finalists because she "doesn't play well with others". She steals MK's t-shirt cannon and shoots Julia with it; to get it back, MK pushes her into the water, causing her to hiss at some animals. She later laughs at Caleb and Julia crashing into a tree and was last seen cheering for Wayne winning the season.
