About
Hatterene (ブリムオン, Burimuon?) (HAT-eh-reen[1]) is a Psychic/Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII
Hatterene is a small humanoid Pokémon with a thin, white body. Its head is round and has a small mouth, narrow black eyes with white pupils, and two elliptical pink markings over each of its eyes resembling eyelashes or eyebrows. It has extremely long, layered, symmetrical hair, far longer than its body is tall; much like a cloak, the hair on its head drapes to the ground and swathes around it to conceal much of its true body, which is adorned by a pink semi-translucent dress that gives it a much taller silhouette, resembling that of a stereotypical sorceress or witch. This hair is colored in a gradient of baby-blue, pale pink, and white from its upper portions downwards. The hair above Hatterene's head is shaped like a wide-brimmed witch's hat with a conical shape serving as the crown of the hat formation. Extending from the pointed end of the hat is a single tentacle that ends in a pink bulb and a consecutive baby-blue, hand-shaped bulb that has a trio of sharp claws, which can articulate in a manner similar to fingers, jutting out of it. Hatterene is a female-only species.
Gigantamax Hatterene has grown to a colossal size. While its physiology remains vastly the same, its black eyes are now blue with white pupils. In addition to this, its hair has grown and increased in volume, forming a chamber of sorts that its body sits in. On both sides of this chamber are a pair of teardrop-shaped openings. The hat-like formation on its head has also changed, with the brim being thinner and draping around it and the crown ending in a pink bulb. Attached to the said bulb is a larger baby-blue bulb that has three, long tentacles tapering from it. As seen with all Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon, three red clouds loom and swirl above the hat of Gigantamax Hatterene. Known as the Raging Goddess, Gigantamax Hatterene has the ability to sense the emotions of creatures from over 30 miles away, and it will become enraged and attack if it senses any hostility. Its tentacles are capable of firing off energy beams akin to lightning.
Hatterene are very sensitive to noise. If somebody starts being too loud around a Hatterene, it tears them apart. If a forest has no signs of living creatures, it means it is a territory of a Hatterene, who has either decimated or scared off other Pokémon with its violent actions. Anyone who steps into a Hatterene's territory will be blasted by a beam and then slashed to death by its claw, which is enhanced by psychic powers.
Hatterene constantly emit a low-level of psychic energy to induce headaches in strangers that come too close to their territory. Indeed, an unnatural quiet and a tingling sensation in the head is a good sign that a Hatterene is near. Many legends surround these Pokémon and their elusive nature. For instance, it is said that while Hatterene will usually mercilessly bewitch travelers who intrude upon their territory, they will make deals with those that they find "tolerable." If a Hatterene shows a willingness to bargain, one should never renege on the deal. Hatterene will exact terrible vengeance on those that betray them.
They can emit psychic power that causes headaches in those nearby. They can also levitate and teleport in short distances. The claw-like tentacles atop of their heads can perform powerful rips that tears victims apart. It can also affect one's mind with illusions as shown in Must Be Our Heroes and the Witch!.
If you're too loud around it, you risk being torn apart by the claws on its tentacle. This Pokémon is also known as the Forest Witch.
Surviving a friendship with a Hatterene requires maintaining a consistently calm emotional state, avoiding loud noises, and living in a quiet, rural environment. Hatterene is known as the "Forest Witch" because of its extreme sensitivity to strong emotions and noise, and it will violently attack anything that disrupts its peace.
a crying child in a forest would likely provoke an attack from a Hatterene because it is highly sensitive to strong emotions and loud noises, and reacts with violence. A lost child's crying would be a loud, emotionally charged disturbance that a Hatterene would likely perceive as an intrusion into its territory.
Hatterene doesn't mind killing lost children in a forest if they have strong emotion. If this were to happen, a hatterene would float to that said lost child, gently stroke their cheek with their claw before snapping their neck with no remorse.
Hatterene is one of the causes of increasing numbers of missing children and phantump population since phantumps were originally lost children in forests that would die but be reborn as a pokemon.
Hatterene evolves from Hattrem and is the final form of Hatenna.
Hatterene's moves: Psycho Cut, Brutal Swing, Confusion, Play Nice, Life Dew, Disarming Voice, Aromatic Mist, Psybeam, Heal Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, Psychic, Healing Wish, Magic Powder.
