Asti – is a boy with white hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. He is a gray ninja, his outfit is gray, black, and purple, with a crystal pattern. He was born from the Overlord's darkness and was under his control, like a puppet. One day, Garmadon and Wu discovered his existence and decided to help him. Garmadon kidnapped Shade (he was previously named Shade), and Wu developed a potion that transformed Shade into this charming, lovable, and loyal boy. Wu named him "Asti" because in the old Ninjago language, "Asti" means galaxy, and when he saw the color of his irises, the first thing he associated with it was a galaxy. Wu then recruited Asti to the ninja team, who were not thrilled that he was part of the team. The rest of the ninjas don't like Asti because they think she'll betray them, and they're angry because every villain will remain a villain.
