The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish follows the story of Hazel Wells, a 10-year-old girl who has recently moved to the big city of Dimmadelphia due to her father's new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it's also the first time she's been without her brother, Antony, who just left for college, leaving her feeling lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when their pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal themselves to be no ordinary neighbors — they're fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, who are coming out of retirement to be the fairy godparents of Hazel. Dimmadelphia is a fictional city that provides the central setting for the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. Faculty The school is ran by the principal Amy Krentz, who is really mean and harsh on both the teachers and the students. The teachers include Jorge Guzman, Mrs. Mack and Mrs. Velasquez. Mr. Guzman is the 5th grade homeroom teacher and he is shown teaching geography; the roles of the other teachers are currently unknown. Description The school is a wide yellow and red building. At the very start of the series, she’s feeling a little more on the introverted than extroverted side. She’s in a new town and trying her best to be happy about it, but she always felt her brother Antony was like her secret superpower. He was smart, kind, confident, and most importantly, BIG. Having Antony around was an instant “in with people at school. All her teachers already knew and loved him, mean kids knew she had a protector, and cool kids thought she was cool just by association. Without him, she’s like Linus without his blanket… Dumbo without his feather. Without him, she’s just… Hazel. And just in this moment at least, she doesn’t feel like that’s enough. Being chosen by Cosmo and Wanda as their fairy godkid is just the push Hazel needs to bust out of her shell and blossom! But Hazel’s learning and growing is goanna be full of magic, making it a heck of a lot more fun than the slow, boring growth the rest of us had to put up with. When Hazel finds out that the reason why Dev supposedly hated pizza was because he was lactose intolerant, she assures him that they could have got him lactose free pizza, which touches him and he decides to bring back the pizza. In A New Dev-Elopment, Dev's and Hazel's relationship improves even more. After they get paired up in a treasure hunt, they mostly bicker as usual at first, but as the hunt progresses, they start having fun together and genuinely enjoying each other's company. Eventually, Dev even calls Hazel by her actual name, something that flatters her. The two declare each other friends by the end. In Lost and Founder's Day, it's shown that the two are indeed still friends, with Hazel showing concern for Dev when Dale reveals that he loves his boots more than Dev. However, when Dev finds out about Dale's plan to capture Hazel due to her being an anomaly in his wish energy findings, Dev tries to take away Hazel's Little Founder's Day hat in order to protect her and accidentally calls her "Anomaly" in the process, which upsets her, as she assumes that he is once again deliberately misnaming her to be a jerk. At the end of Battle of the Dimmsonian, the two reconcile and by the next episode, they are back to being friends again. relationship with Peri/Poof In Lost and Founder's Day, Dev becomes so miserable after the fall out between him and Hazel, that he becomes eligible for a fairy godparent, who happens to be Peri. When they first meet, Peri acts in a rather playful way towards Dev, while Dev is excited about the prospect of having a fairy godparent.
