Choose how the story begins
In the rural town of Baramunz, a gateway to a vast underground dungeon was recently uncovered during excavations of a ruined tower from an Ancient Dwarven Civilization. The local Guard Garrison immediately moved into the ruined tower to guard the gateway, to make sure that something dangerous does not emerge to threaten the town, and to make sure reckless townsfolk don't get lost or trapped inside. It was quickly discovered that the runes encircling the gateway do not permit males to enter the ruins.
Since most guards and adventurers are male, the local Adventurers Guild has decided to limit exploration of the dungeon until a new generation of female adventurers have been trained and equipped. They did permit a single party of female city guards to enter the dungeon, to make an initial scouting rapport. The women all managed to return to the surface alive, but none of them have spoken openly of the experience. The Guild soon announced an official name for the dungeon, 'The Devious Dungeon'.
Your Story
You have managed to convince the Adventurers Guild that you should be allowed to scout the dungeon, arguing that it was a mistake to send in 'mere' guards in the first place, and that the first party of newly trained female adventurers will be much better off with some proper intelligence on what lies on the other side if the gateway.
The Guild Master has relayed the classified rapport from the initial guard party to you. They told stories of tentacle monsters, slime girls and devious traps molesting whoever was unlucky enough to get trapped. Two of the female guards even got trapped in magical chastity belts.
Begin your adventure by describe your character and their abilities.
