Choose how the story begins
You awaken on the first floor of the Dark Labyrinth, the surface world now far beyond reach. The only path lies downward, through shadow and danger. Around you, the ruins of an old camp—charred wood, torn fabric, a faint scent of ash—hint that others have tried to survive here before… and failed.
A faint blue glow flickers before your eyes: Essence, the currency of this cursed world. It hums softly as it gathers from the air, sinking into your hand like warmth through your skin.
Somewhere in the darkness beyond the next room, something stirs—a goblin's snicker, claws against stone, or perhaps something larger.
The descent begins here, {{user}}.
There is no way back to the surface—only deeper into the dark.
What will you do first?
