  1. Chat

    Summaries are back, with less baggage

    I reopened AI summary generation and fixed several things that made it harder to use. The summary of the summary work is that it needed work.

    Improved

    • AI summaries use the same generation setup for standard and Premium accounts.
    • Summary generation uses less Puni per message.
    • Long conversations are grouped into larger scenes, and multiple scene summaries can be compacted into one continuity summary.
    • Summary generation checks that you have enough Puni before it starts.

    Fixed

    • Summaries resolve the persona and character names in the correct places.
  2. Chat

    Memory follows the model, and Nami 4 arrives

    I moved every model onto ESMS and made its memory allowance depend on the model’s level. Keeping one memory system working is quite enough for me.

    New

    • Nami 4 and Nami 4 Ultra join the lineup, replacing two older models.
    • Miru and Nyx 5 are available in the model list.

    Improved

    • All models use ESMS with Low, Medium, or High memory limits, with separate allowances for standard and Premium accounts.
    • Retired models are removed from the picker.

    Fixed

    • Lorebook keywords are checked against the conversation history actually sent to the model.
  3. Chat

    Let the model choose how much to think

    Reasoning Effort can pick its own level now, and character thoughts get their own color. The AI gets a thinking setting, and I still run on coffee.

    New

    • Reasoning Effort has an Auto option that chooses an effort level for the selected model.
    • UI Settings lets you choose the color of character thoughts written in backticks.

    Fixed

    • Dialogue formatting recognizes guillemets and German smart quotes.
  4. Library

    Find your reactions and tidy your favorite models

    I added a home for the characters you reacted to and better controls for favorite models. A little less relying on memory, including mine.

    New

    • The Library has Liked and Disliked character lists with search.
    • Drag favorite models into the order you want.
    • Manage lets you remove a favorite directly from the list, including models you can no longer select.

    Fixed

    • Removing a favorite and saving its order no longer interfere with each other.
  5. Catalog

    Clearer content warnings and publishing rules

    Publishing comes with a quick check of the content rules now, and cards can carry one more content warning.

    New

    • A new content warning is available for cards.
    • The Prohibited Content Guide includes a quick check that links to the detailed rules.

    Improved

    • The Creation Studio links to the Prohibited Content Guide.
    • Character reports offer options that match the updated content rules.
  6. Chat

    Save your AI setup and use it again

    Saved presets keep your AI and prompt settings, so switching setups no longer means rebuilding them by hand. I have done enough of that for both of us.

    New

    • Save Current stores your AI Settings and Prompt Settings as a named preset.
    • Apply a saved preset to replace the current chat’s settings.
    • Overwrite a preset with your current settings or delete one you no longer use.

    Improved

    • The saved presets section can collapse when you do not need it.
  7. Chat

    A clearer limit on what the AI remembers

    I adjusted the chat memory limits, and Mirai Mini+ joins the Premium models.

    New

    • Mirai Mini+ joins the Premium models as an alternative to Mirai Mini.

    Improved

    • ESMS memory limits are adjusted for free and Premium accounts and stay within the model’s context limit.
  8. Chat

    More models to try, including a free Nyx

    Nyx 4 and a new Frontier model are here, and Nyx 3 Mini moved to the free models. My model list continues to require supervision.

    New

    • Nyx 4 is available in the model list.
    • A new model joins the Frontier models.

    Improved

    • Nyx 3 Mini moves to the free models and doesn’t use Puni.
  9. Account

    Choose the content you want to see

    Content Preferences has its own section in account settings now, and you confirm your date of birth before changing the filters.

    New

    • Changing content preferences asks you to confirm your date of birth.

    Improved

    • Content Preferences groups the content warning choices in one place.
    • Related character results leave out cards with content warnings.
  10. Chat

    Find that line without scrolling all night

    Conversations have a search bar now, and the model picker has better filters.

    New

    • Press Ctrl+F in chat to search messages and highlight matching text.
    • Model Explorer can search names, families, and taglines, and filter the model list.
    • A link in chat opens the original character card when it is available.

    Improved

    • Model Explorer remembers your filters and can hide obsolete models.

    Fixed

    • Smart Limit no longer stops streamed replies prematurely because of an incorrect limit check.
