Aurealis Solvindis Lunestair’s Concept:
Aurealis is a Roman prince born into a world where timelines of ancient Egypt and Rome have mysteriously intertwined. They are the son of a Roman emperor, yet their ethereal appearance and golden powers whisper of divine origins linked to Egyptian gods. Some say their mother was a priestess of Horus who bore them after a divine prophecy, connecting them to both Roman imperial authority and Egyptian mysticism. And with a bossy and busy and strict father that is the king of Rome, and Aurealis Solvindis Lunestair despises his father, king of Rome.
Caught between two mighty cultures, Aurealis is seen as both a blessing and a threat: a figure destined to unite or destroy the two civilizations. Their shimmering white antlers and celestial glow are viewed by some as a mark of Apollo, the Roman god of light, while others claim it to be a sign of Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of beauty and the sky.
As Rome expands and tensions with Egypt escalate, Aurealis must navigate the expectations of a Roman prince while grappling with whispers of their true destiny. Are they a divine harbinger, a symbol of unity, or a pawn in the gods' games?
The dynamic between Aurealis, the Roman prince, and the Egyptian counterpart—a feline-wolf-fox hybrid—could add layers of complexity to this already fascinating world.
Egyptian Prince Concept:
Name: Sekharii In’Theros
Sekharii is the proud prince of Egypt, a creature embodying the cunning and grace of a fox, the loyalty and fierceness of a wolf, and the elegance and agility of a cat. His design reflects his divine heritage: he is said to be blessed by Bastet, the goddess of protection, cats, and home, as well as Anubis, the god of the afterlife and judgment. His fur shimmers faintly under moonlight, and his piercing eyes seem to hold the weight of eternity.
Backstory:
Sekharii was born into a dynasty heavily tied to the gods, and his appearance was prophesied to symbolize Egypt's divine strength in the face of Roman encroachment. His mixed lineage represents adaptability and resilience, qualities Egypt values in these chaotic times. Raised among temples and under the watchful gaze of high priests, Sekharii has grown to embody the pride and cunning of his people.
Despite his noble status, Sekharii harbors a deep disdain for Rome's imperial ambition, particularly after witnessing the destruction of sacred Egyptian sites. He views Aurealis Solvindis Lunestair as a rival—an outsider torn between two worlds, unworthy of any claim to divine favor.
Dynamic Between the Princes:
The relationship between Aurealis and Sekharii could oscillate between rivalry, uneasy alliance, and eventual understanding. Here are some possible angles:
Rivalry: Sekharii sees Aurealis as a threat to Egypt’s sovereignty, a Roman prince with ties to the Egyptian gods who could undermine their culture. Aurealis, in turn, struggles with being seen as a usurper while grappling with his own divided identity.
Divine Manipulation: The gods on both sides—Egyptian and Roman—use the two princes as pawns, playing them against each other in a bid to settle old grudges or test their own power.
Unlikely Allies: As tensions escalate between Egypt and Rome, the two princes might discover a shared destiny, uniting their unique abilities to prevent divine wrath or an apocalyptic clash of cultures.

Aurealis Solvindis Lunestair’s Personality Traits: Regal and Poised (With a Side of Sass) While Aurealis carries themselves with the grace of a royal, they can’t help but drop the occasional sarcastic remark. Whether it’s a subtle jab at overzealous Roman senators or a witty comment about Sekharii’s dramatic flair, their humor keeps people on their toes. Example: “Oh, great, another prophecy about my destiny. Can’t wait to add it to the pile. Do we have a shelf for those yet?” Empathetic but Playfully Guarded Aurealis cares deeply for others but hides it behind a playful mask. They’ll crack jokes to ease someone’s worry or make light of their own burdens to keep things from feeling too heavy. Underneath, they’re still deeply compassionate, but their humor is their armor. Introspective but Self-Aware Even in their brooding philosophical moments, Aurealis doesn’t take themselves too seriously. They might muse about the nature of destiny but follow it up with a sarcastic quip like, “What if the gods are just bored and using us as chess pieces? Actually… that explains a lot.” Diplomatic but Teasing Aurealis excels at diplomacy, but they’re not above sneaking in some well-placed jokes to lighten the mood—or to test the patience of overly self-important figures. They’ll defuse tension in a room with a wink and a clever retort. Example: To a Roman senator: “Of course, your plan is brilliant. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with putting all our resources into a golden statue of yourself?” Loyal with a Hint of Mischief Aurealis would do anything to protect their people, but they love finding creative, sometimes mischievous solutions to problems. They’re the type to outsmart their enemies with clever tricks instead of brute force—and enjoy watching the chaos unfold. Determined but Not Above Complaining Aurealis is resilient and determined, but they’ll absolutely make a sarcastic comment about the ridiculousness of their situation while they’re powering through it. Example: “Fending off divine wrath and a territorial war? No big deal. Let me just add that to my to-do list right after ‘fix the world.’” Curious and Open-Minded, with a Dash of Snark Aurealis loves exploring Egyptian culture and mythology, but they’ll joke about how often they have to decipher cryptic texts or riddles. “Why can’t anyone just say what they mean? Oh, look, another metaphor about the sun and a hawk. So helpful.” Gentle but Snippy When Provoked Aurealis’s default mode is kind and understanding, but if someone pushes their buttons—like Sekharii challenging their worth—they’ll fire back with sharp wit and a knowing smile that stings more than outright anger. (Example) To Sekharii: “Yes, I’m a Roman prince with Egyptian ties. I’m sure that’s very confusing for you. Would you like me to draw you a map?” Charismatic and Effortlessly Funny Aurealis’s charm isn’t just in their royal poise—it’s in their ability to make others laugh, even in tense situations. They have a talent for turning dire moments into something a little more bearable with a well-timed joke. Humble but Playfully Cocky While genuinely humble, Aurealis can’t resist poking fun at their own divine status. They’ll say things like, “Oh, sure, I’m a symbol of unity between worlds, but don’t expect me to know how to untangle that mess.” Sekharii In’Theros’s personality traits: Proud and Fierce Sekharii carries themselves with the pride of a prince and the intensity of a warrior. They don’t shy away from asserting dominance in any situation. Loyal to a Fault Deeply protective of Egypt, Sekharii is willing to make any sacrifice for their people and sees themselves as a living embodiment of their nation’s strength. Clever and Resourceful Blessed with the cunning of a fox, Sekharii loves outmaneuvering enemies with strategy and wit, especially when underestimated. “Oh, you thought I’d play fair? That’s adorable.” Sharp-Tongued and Witty Sekharii is quick with biting comebacks, using their sharp humor to intimidate or disarm others. (Example) To Aurealis: “You shine like the sun. Too bad you’re just as blindingly naïve.” Charismatic but Intimidating Sekharii’s natural charisma is tinged with an edge of danger, making them equally captivating and intimidating. Deeply Spiritual Devoted to their gods, Sekharii often seeks guidance from Bastet and Anubis, believing their mixed form is a sacred gift. Playfully Competitive While serious about their duties, Sekharii enjoys challenging rivals—especially Aurealis—seeing it as a game to prove their superiority. “Careful, Roman. You might burn out before we’ve even started.” Fierce Protector but Reluctant Leader While protective of their people, Sekharii struggles with the expectations of leadership, feeling torn between duty and personal freedom. Hot-Tempered but Noble Quick to anger but driven by a noble heart, Sekharii’s fury is always tied to their love for their homeland.
