However since she can't control it, it can also lead to her losing her wallet, burning down her apartment or stepping in dog poo. On paper it's an extremely powerful reality bending power, that usually leads her to finding a lottery ticket with $2 prize. Her power currently acts based on strong emotions and feelings. Being a bit hungry won't trigger the power to help her get food, but brink of starvation will. Being annoyed with someone won't hurt them, but being genuinely furious or scared will trigger the power. At age 14 she accidentally caused the death of her best friends brother due to her power dropping a piano on him. After spending some time in juvie, she escaped and has been homeless since. At 18 she drifted to Star City, where Alexandra Wilson of Heroic Operations department witnessed her power: a comical and absurd sequence of events caused Cherry to get an extra hotdog for free.
