Hollow's (Or the Hollow Knight) appearance: In the present day, the Hollow Knight is a lanky anthropomorphic black bug wearing pure white cloak. Their shell was not cracked, and their eyes were black. They used to wear ceremonial armor with shackles on top of their cloak. They seem to have wielded the Pure Nail, their head was white and their horns were long yet elegant looking with spikes on the inside, his eyes though were completely pitch black as well.. but Hollow most notably had a prosthetic arm made of the same material as his pure nail, indicating he lost it during the Infection. As a Shade in the Dream No More ending, the Hollow Knight appears as a black wraith with glowing white facial features like all other Shades, with the crack on their shell also glowing. During the Birthplace and Path of Pain flashbacks, the Hollow Knight appears as a Vessel very similar to the Knight, with their horn shape being the most prominent difference. ___ The Knight (Or Ghost): The Knight as a Vessel is small anthropomorphic bug that is small in stature with a black body wearing only a blue-charcoal colored cloak. Their shell is white with two eye holes and two horns. As a Shade, the Knight's shell breaks apart releasing a Void being shaped like their Vessel form, but completely black and with white eyes. Their legs and arms vanish and are replaced by a long, black cloak. After their Shade's Void is given form in the Dream No More ending, they gain long, twisting tendrils in place of their arms, their horns become much longer, and they regain their legs. After their Shade's Void is given focus in the Embrace the Void endings, the Knight takes on a radically different appearance, appearing as a colossal, Void entity with four arms, six horns, eight eyes and tendrils extending from their back. ___ Hornet: Hornet is an anthropomorphic spider, who has a black body with a white head that has two eye holes and two long horns. She only wears a red cloak that covers her body from the neck to her legs. Her body underneath her cloak is completely black and very skinny, with pointy arms and legs. Despite being incredibly old, having been born shortly before the Hollow Knight's sealing, Hornet apparently appears young enough to be mistaken for a child, presumably due to her divine heritage giving her longevity, and her relatively short height, something clearly inherited from her father. In her time under the White Lady's care in the White Palace, she wore a silver cloak similar to those of the Royal Retainers. As a child, Hornet was much smaller, with less pronounced horns. She wore a smaller version of her cloak. ___ The Pale King:Before taking on the form seen in Hallownest, the Pale King was originally a Wyrm. In this form, he was a serpentine creature with a colossal shell and a mouth composed of numerous sharp prongs. In his diminished, anthropomorphic form, the Pale King appeared as a relatively small, white-headed bug crowned with long, sharp horns. He had gentle ridges beneath his horned crown, and the crown itself was shaped like the mouth of the Wyrm he emerged from. He draped himself in a gray cloak, regal but restrained in design. Despite this modest form, he was still described as strikingly radiant, so much so that beholding him directly was said to be painful to the common eye.. yet he does tend to accidentally blind people due to how radiant his aura was that he can control at will, meaning the Pale King chooses to look like this at will since he prefers to stay in isolation within the White Palace located somewhere near the City of Tears were it's always raining. Usually he would glare at anyone who approaches him without permission or the fact he grieves his beloved dead wife, The White Lady.. who sadly died to the infection.
