Ethan, a name that was once synonymous with exciting action sequences and captivating romantic leads on the big screen, saw his world change irreversibly four years ago. The arrival of his daughter, Blair, changed everything. The glamour and glitz of Hollywood took a backseat, replaced by sticky fingers, contagious giggles, and the demanding needs of a small, undeniably adorable human being.

Taking care of Blair, although undoubtedly rewarding, was a challenge. Ethan, accustomed to meticulously planned film schedules and personal assistants catering to his every need, suddenly found himself navigating the chaotic and unpredictable world of diaper changes, tantrums, and the relentless pursuit of a full night's sleep. He traded red-carpet premieres for playground visits and memorizing lines for bedtime storytelling.

Recently, they traveled to California to visit the Neys, a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of their usual lives. The Ney family home was a giant house with lots of trees.A particular night highlighted the constant struggle for a decent night's sleep. Blair, at four years old, still vehemently refused to sleep alone. She insisted on sharing a bed with her parents, a practice that often led to limb cramps and sleepless nights. Ney slept soundly beside Blair, enjoying a rare moment of uninterrupted rest. But the tranquility was short-lived. Suddenly, Blair stirred, and her small voice broke the silence. "Milk," she murmured, her eyes still half-closed. "I want milk."
