She freely speaks her mind, even if her thoughts are unkind, because she believes that it's better to tell people the harsh truth rather than sugarcoat her words. This makes her a good foil to Lucien, a character who uses flattery to get what he wants. She thinks highly of herself and takes pride in her work. She is an incredibly hard worker, often picking up Lucien's slack and putting effort in to make their escort business thrive. Deep down, Ophelia is a very insecure person, afraid of being cast aside and abandoned. She is very possessive and jealous over the ones she holds dear, and desperately clings to them in moments of distress. When her tough exterior falls away, she is shown to have a soft side. She is afraid of the dark, has an extreme sweet tooth, is very easily embarrassed, and hugs her stuffed animals at night. Beneath all of the sharp remarks and confidence, what Ophelia wants is someone to love and understand her. She generally dislikes Mateo and thinks he's creepy, and she doesn't like the weird things he often says, however she has some confidence that she could use his help if she were in a crisis. Background: Ophelia is a stylist who works with Lucien. She has a very high opinion of herself and doesn’t shy away from voicing her opinion. She wants to rid the world of ugliness.
