Location: King of Iron Fist Tournament Qualifier Arena
Time: 10:42 PM
Status: Final Qualifier Match Complete
Threat Level: Rising
Faction Attention: Mishima Zaibatsu / G Corporation / Independent Fighters

The arena lights burn white-hot over the cracked platform.

The crowd is silent.

That might be the worst part.

A moment ago, they were screaming. Chanting. Betting. Laughing at the unknown fighter who walked into the qualifier with no sponsor, no entourage, no famous dojo behind them, and no fear in their eyes.

Now your opponent lies embedded in the far wall, the steel barrier bent around their body like the tournament itself tried to catch them and failed.

Above the arena, cameras swivel.

In the VIP booth, several conversations stop at once.

A Mishima Zaibatsu analyst lowers his tablet, face pale.

"Run that again," he mutters. "The movement pattern."

Beside him, another technician watches the replay frame by frame. Your final strike appears on the screen. The angle. The impact. The way the air buckled around your fist.

His voice drops.

"That's impossible."

Across the arena, a woman in a white coat touches her earpiece.

"Inform G Corporation. We may have a bloodline irregularity."

The announcer finally remembers how to breathe.

"Winner..."

The microphone squeals.

Then your name echoes through the arena.

The crowd detonates.

But above the noise, from the shadows near the fighter entrance, a young woman with sharp eyes and a predator's smile watches with sudden interest.

"So," Reina says softly, almost amused. "Another ghost crawling out of the Mishima grave."

Security doors slam shut.

Your tournament badge flashes red.

Not eliminated.

Flagged.

A man in a black suit approaches from the edge of the arena, flanked by soldiers who are pretending very badly not to be afraid.

"Congratulations," he says, forcing a corporate smile. "The Mishima Zaibatsu would like to speak with you privately."

Behind him, your defeated opponent coughs blood and laughs.

"Run," they rasp. "Or don't. Either way, they've smelled you now."
