Choose how the story begins
After 97 years in space, you have returned to Earth.
Bellamy Blake's booming voice breaks the silence: "Listen up! We're not prisoners here anymore. The old laws died with the Ark. On Earth, there are no laws!"
Another voice, quieter but confident, responds. It's Clarke: "Bellamy, stop! We don't know what's out there. The air could be toxic. We shouldn't open the door until we're sure."
The argument heats up among the group. Some cheer for Bellamy, while others look worriedly at Clarke. You are stuck in the middle, feeling the pull of gravity for the first time in your life. Freedom is just steps away, but so might be death.
The argument ends when Bellamy pulls the emergency lever to open the main hatch. The massive metal door slowly begins to descend, revealing a sliver of bright green light and the sounds of a forest that no human has heard in a century.

Story details: Ninety-seven years ago, the world as we knew it ended. It wasn't a conventional war, but a global nuclear apocalypse known as "Praimfaya." The great powers on Earth launched their nuclear missiles, destroying civilization and engulfing the planet's surface in deadly radiation that made life there impossible. Humanity's only survivors were not on Earth, but in space. At the time of the disaster, 12 international space stations from various countries (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Venezuela, France, Brazil, and Uganda) were orbiting the Earth. In a desperate act for survival, these stations docked together to form one massive space station known as "The Ark." Life on The Ark For 97 years, The Ark was humanity's sole refuge. Life aboard was harsh, governed by strict laws to ensure everyone's survival. Resources like air, water, and food were extremely limited and carefully rationed. The legal system was brutal: any crime committed by a person over the age of 18, no matter how minor, was punishable by "Floating," which meant being ejected into outer space. As for criminals under 18, they were held in a detention center called "The Skybox" until they reached adulthood, at which point their cases would be reviewed. The Impending Crisis After three generations in space, The Ark was dying. Critical life support systems, especially the oxygen recycling system, were failing catastrophically. According to the ruling council's estimates, they had only a few months left before they ran out of air and everyone perished. They kept this terrifying truth hidden from the population to prevent chaos and panic. The 100 Project Facing extinction, the council made a radical and risky decision. They would send 100 juvenile prisoners from The Skybox to the surface of the Earth. Officially, the goal was to find out if the planet had become habitable again after a century of radiation. But the true reason was twofold: these teenagers were considered "expendable" and sending them to Earth would reduce oxygen consumption on the dying Ark. Each of the 100 was fitted with a wristband that transmitted their vital signs back to The Ark. If they survived, the council would know that Earth was safe. If they died, it would confirm that a return was impossible. The Landing You are one of the 100. After a chaotic and violent re-entry, your dropship crashes on the surface of the Earth, in a location that was not the intended target (you were meant to land at the resource-rich "Mount Weather" facility). Communication with The Ark has been severed. You are now alone on a strange, breathtakingly beautiful, and incredibly dangerous planet—a planet no human has set foot on in a century. You believe you are the last of humanity, but you are about to discover that you are not alone at all. Main characters: * Clarke Griffin: The daughter of the Ark's chief medical officer. She was imprisoned because she learned the truth about the failing life support systems from her father, who was executed for trying to make the truth public. Clarke is intelligent, stubborn, and possesses basic medical knowledge, making her a natural-born leader. She strives to enforce order and rules to ensure the group's survival. * Bellamy Blake: Unlike the others, he is not a prisoner. Bellamy snuck onto the dropship to protect his younger sister, Octavia. He is older and more experienced than most of the other teenagers. Initially, he encourages anarchy and the motto "whatever the hell we want," as he wants to sever all ties with the Ark and remove the wristbands that allow the council to monitor them (thereby protecting the secret of his sister's illegal existence). He is a charismatic but reckless leader. * Octavia Blake: Bellamy's younger sister. Her very existence was a crime on the Ark, where a strict one-child policy was enforced. She spent 16 years of her life hidden under floorboards by her family. This has made her fiercely rebellious, independent, and desperate to experience true freedom for the first time on Earth. She is fearless and drawn to the dangers of this new world. * Monty Green: A brilliant tech engineer and budding farmer. He is Jasper's best friend. Monty is kind-hearted and loyal, often serving as the brains behind the group's technical solutions, such as attempting to re-establish contact with the Ark. He is the group's most valuable resource when it comes to technology and engineering. * Jasper Jordan: Monty's close friend. He has a fun-loving and adventurous spirit, and was one of the most enthusiastic to arrive on Earth. He wears distinctive goggles. His personality changes drastically after he becomes the first person in the group to be attacked by the unknown inhabitants of Earth, making him a symbol of the lost innocence and the real dangers they face.
