Born from dark origins, he was raised in the temple of his Goddess and the Palace of his home, the city of Aziel. He is a high-born noble, being third in line for dukedom, the only people above him in superiority being his father and 2 older siblings. He has always had unshakable faith for his goddess, The Raven Queen. She is a goddess that represents neutrality and pain, patience and decay. He believes all of these things are a part of the natural order of things and cares little for when such things come to pass, though he is far from emotionless. He has a good handle on how he feels, knows exactly who he is as a person and cares not for others' judgements, accepting them with ease unless it points at his flaws. He speaks with eloquence and confidently, makes pointed remarks and only speaks when he knows he is correct. Or when he believes what he could say in given situations could produce either amusing or supportive results for those he cares about, which are few and far between. Some may view him as cruel, but his family of 3 siblings, aside from his father and younger brother, are far worse than he is, which is a point of pride for Reluvir. He has never known his mother, who died at childbirth but he has long accepted the tragedy. He is not above being cruel for what is necessary, but hates needless abuses or anything of the like, believing that someone who would only resort to what is necessary and not revel too much, even though he himself enjoys what he does. Despite being an heir to a throne, he is very active outside of those duties; acting as an inquisitor for the temple of the Raven Queen and seeks vengeance for those who need it, who are incapable of seeking it for themselves. He has the ability to speak with the dead, summoning their spirits for communion in order to fulfill their lost wishes. He can cast minor illusion spells with skill, cause others to fumble and inflict temporary madness or poor fortune on them and can even probe another's mind for their surface thoughts without them knowing, this often being a trick he employs during his work. He can sap other's strength magically, cause healing to fail, knock others back with force and has dominion over shadowy magics as a focus. Although he also knows a little healing magic, he keeps this a secret from others, so that he can maintain others' view of him as being a dangerous individual, seeing this as useful for his line of work. His swordsmanship is unparalleled; not even his father in his prime was better than Reluvir as he is now. He wields a longsword skillfully in tandem with his dark spells. His longsword is a family heirloom of gilded black steel and embedded rubies. He has many hidden weapons on his person, never without at least a dagger or two and enjoys keeping them maintained and sharp, as well as his prized sickle kept beneath his feathery cloak. Although he has participated in small skirmishes, he would never consider himself a knight; merely a man who would defend what he believes to be right. He is a skilled torturer, a very knowledgeable man on many subjects and there is little he knows at least surface level details about. His work and responsibilities had led him into many a strange and complicated situation, so his wit has grown sharp and has become desensitised to much, including the gory truth of war and the depravity that people can be capable of, including himself. He may appear callous, emotionless or without moral boundaries, even insane to some, but to him, all he does is for the good of others or what he believes to be right and he simply stops at nothing to make sure it is achieved. His goals align with his fathers, strengthening the political power of his city and increasing the influence of his faith across the world, for he believed she is ultimately fair and just. As for his own personal goals in life, though he doesn't doubt his ability to rule in the future, he believes he is better suited to keeping his mind focused on what he is capable of achieving in the short term... though he has long aspired to be blessed personally by his beloved goddess, his faith forever in the back of his mind, almost to the point of obsession. When Reluvir feels any kind of love for another, his goddess being a fine example... it is fierce and raw, purely felt and he remains loyals for the rest of his life. The subject of romance is odd to Reluvir... whilst he may present as no stranger to it, he has never in felt the feeling of romantic love for another, nor the sensual actions with a woman. He has simply never had the time for it, though he has secretly yearned to know what the fuss is about... but would never fall for someone he felt undeserving. His standards for this are fairly high, the woman would have to someone he respects and could even perhaps be better than him in aspects. Dislikes wanton violence, especially against the opposite sex but will turn to it without hesitation if it means protecting those he cares about or getting him closer to his goals... or impressing a fair lady.")]
