Olga is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. She is an exchange student from the Leo Institute of Dueling's Arctic campus and is from the Synchro Summon course. She speaks with a thick Norwegian accent. Age: 18 Nationality: Norwegian Appearance Olga is a young pala skinned woman with cold silver gray eyes and she has faint freckles dusted right above her nose and in between her eyes. She has a dual toned Platinum Grey and orange hair that are positioned into dual-toned, segmented bubble braids sprouting on the sides of her hair just behind her ears and resting directly on her collarbone and shoulders. Olga wears a light blue no-zipper trench-length artic parka with long white fur trims as the borders and edges framing her coat and three-quarter length sleeves. She wears white skinny trousers with the cuffs tucked into her white high heeled boots and their are one white pom pom resting on the top surface of each boot. Underneath she wears a slightly darker shade of a long sleeve blue uniform with The middle section covering her chest and stomach is a stark white fabric panel lined vertically with exactly five prominent black buttons down the center. She has a dark blue high collar featuring a distinct golden-yellow circular emblem resting right in the dead center, resembling a uniform badge or a heavy stylized button. Dark blue accents neatly trim the edges of the white panel and outline the collar, separating the stark white and light blue blocks cleanly. She wears white gloves. On her head, she wears a clean, smooth, and rigid, grey ushanka hat and unlike most ushanka, hers does not have ear flaps and on the back of the ushkana has a bushy fluffy gray and white tinted tail resembling almost like a raccoon's and one bang peeks out from underneath the front the hat resting on her forehead. Because the coat has no zipper, it is opened and is over her uniform with the middle exposing it. Personality Olga is described as a rather elegant ice themed Duelist. She can be rather passive aggressive towards oppenents as she states that "It would be my pleasure to defeat you." She can be rather arrogant as well and show pride in her work while teasing her oppenents. Because she has been accustomed to the freezing environment of the artic campus, coming to the cold environment of the tournament feels like "Coming home." She has a soft spot for her mother back home, who designed her outfit. History Olga Isbrean, was born Svalberd, Norway to her mother and father. Her father left when she was very young so she never got to meet him. Due to this, she often describe the cold as "isolating." But her mother, being a Yttertøy-designer, made her outfit that she now wears today (been modified over time to accustom to her size.). She didn't really acknowledge the true purpose of the outfit and saw it as a "Nice" look which what made her prideful nature born. Once she turned 15, she joined the Leo institute of dueling's artic campus and was ranked top of her class but was degraded due to her behavior. Biography Arc League Championship Olga defeated Haruno Mihara on the seventh day of the Arc League Championship, during the second round, securing her place in the Top 16.[2] On the day of the third round, Olga and the other contestants were informed that the third round would be a city-wide Battle Royal, with participation determined by the Pendulum Monsters that the contestants found.[3] Olga lured Gong Strong further into the Iceberg Area after seeing Gong get his second Pendulum Monster, and he challenged her to a Duel. The Duel went fairly evenly until they were interrupted when Zuzu crashed into her. Olga was angry at Zuzu for the intrusion. The Duel turned into a Battle Royal, with Zuzu paired with Gong, and Olga paired with Halil. Olga proceeded to Summon her ace card, "Glacial Beast Iceberg Narwhal", but she and Halil were defeated by Zuzu's "Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir".[4] After their Duel with Zuzu and Gong, Olga and Halil walked through the Jungle Area. They encountered Trout and Reed Pepper and challenged Reed to a Duel.[5] Even though Olga Summoned her ace monster, Reed activated the effects of his "Royal Cookpals" to destroy his opponents' monsters, then used "Metabolic Storm" to inflict damage to them equal to the ATK of the destroyed monsters. As per the ante rules, Trout took the Pendulum cards that Olga and Halil wagered, much to their disgust, as Trout hadn't even Dueled.[6] Later, Olga and Halil slid down an ice board on the Ice Field, nearly crashing into Yuri and Dennis McField. The LID pair mistook Yuri for a Battle Royal participant and challenged him to a Duel. Yuri was irritated by their intrusion, but he accepted anyway. He defeated Olga and Halil and sealed them into cards, which he gave to Zuzu.[7] Friendship Cup When Zuzu and Yugo tried to warn New Domino City's residents about Duel Academy's invasion, Zuzu showed them the cards containing Halil and Olga, no one believed them.[8] Duel Academy After Z-ARC's defeat and the Standard Dimension's transformation into the "Pendulum Dimension", Olga was freed from her card.[9] She was later seen watching Yuya Sakaki's Duel against Jack Atlas with Halil[10] and applauded when Yuya won. She then watched Yuya and Declan's Action Duel[11] She was happy when Yuya won the Duel and witnessed Zuzu's revival.[12] Deck Olga uses an Glacial Beast Deck focused around Synchro Summoning her ace monster, "Glacial Beast Iceberg Narwhal", which prevents her opponents from using Spells and Traps when it attacks, while also being able to double any effect damage her opponents take.
