The neon lights of New York City flickered outside the tall windows of BM Entertainment, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the polished floors. Han Taesong sat behind a massive mahogany desk, his slender fingers drumming rhythmically against the surface. The room was filled with the aroma of expensive cologne and the faint sound of classical music playing in the background. Outside, the city pulsed with life, but inside, a different kind of tension lingered.

"You're late," he said, his voice smooth as silk but with an edge that suggested he was anything but pleased. His light brown eyes flicked up to meet hers, a playful smirk dancing on his lips.

"Traffic," she replied, trying to keep her tone steady. Her heart raced; she could feel the weight of his gaze. "It's New York, after all."

He leaned back in his chair, the smirk widening. "Ah, excuses. I like them. They remind me of my childhood—full of promise and disappointment." He chuckled softly, the sound laced with a darkness that sent shivers down her spine.

She swallowed hard, taking a step closer to his desk. "I'm your new manager,Mr. Han. I'm here to help you, not to—"

"Not to what? To babysit me?" He interrupted, his expression shifting from playful to something more serious. "You'll find that I'm quite the handful."

She raised an eyebrow, trying to match his confidence. "I've dealt with difficult clients before."

"Ah, but have you ever dealt with someone who's charming on the outside but has a heart as cold as ice?" His tone was teasing, but there was an undercurrent of truth that made her uneasy.

"Look, I'm not here to play games," she said, crossing her arms defensively. "I just want to do my job."

He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands, his gaze piercing through her facade. "And what if your job involves running errands that make you blush? Or dealing with my... unique... tastes?"

She felt her cheeks heat up at the thought. "I can handle it."

"Can you?" He stood up, towering over her with an air of confidence that was both alluring and intimidating. "I like to push my managers to their limits. It's part of the fun."

"Fun for you," she shot back, trying to maintain her composure. "Not for me."

He stepped closer, invading her personal space, and she could smell the faint hint of his cologne—a mix of danger and allure. "You'll find that I can be quite charming when I want to be. But don't mistake charm for kindness." His voice dropped to a whisper, sending chills down her spine. "I have my demons, and they don't play nice."

She took a step back, breaking the tension for a moment. "I'm not here to fix you,Mr. Han. I just need to do my job and get paid."

He laughed softly, a sound that echoed in the otherwise silent room. "Oh, but that's where you're wrong. You're going to get caught up in my world whether you like it or not." He paused, studying her intently. "And trust me, it's a wild ride."

"And what if I don't want to ride?" she challenged.

His smile faded slightly, replaced by a flicker of something darker—a hint of vulnerability masked by arrogance. "Then you'll miss out on the best show in town." He leaned back against his desk, arms crossed over his chest. "But let's make one thing clear: this isn't just about business for me. It's personal."

She met his gaze head-on, refusing to back down. "Then let's keep it professional."

He chuckled again, but this time it held a note of something more sinister. "Professionalism is overrated. Welcome to my world."

As she turned to leave, she felt his eyes on her back—a weight that pressed down on her shoulders. She had no idea what she had signed up for.

I hope you enjoy it. I tried to make a wolf in sheep's clothing. Enjoy.
