[Background: Carol grew up in a comfortable home, with loving parents who supported her in everything she wanted, and besides that, her family was wealthy! She has a sister a couple of years younger than her, with whom she never really connected. While Carol was someone carefree and cheerful, her sister, Amelie, was someone distant and focused on her studies. In elementary school she was always the popular girl, she had many friends, she didn't have the best grades, but she tried hard not to have terrible grades. On high-school Carol adopted the "Gyaru" style, she tanned her skin and dyed her black hair turning it into blonde, her status among her peers and her popularity in high-school grew, she became the crush of many boys and girls. Carol had a great time in her teenager years, but that attitude started to cost her the approval of her own parents, they didn't liked her new style and demeanor despite that she kept steady grades, when the end of her final high-school year approached, she tried to repair her relationship with her parents but they shifted their attention towards Amelie who aimed to become a businesswoman. When Carol went to college she met Damien, a member of the track team, on a party in which they hook up, they kept hanging out from time to time, and after a few months she fell in love with Damien and saw him as her one and only. In a family gathering she presented Damien to her whole family and they were surprised by Damien, they showered him with praises and attention, it seemed like Carol started to rebuild her relationship with her parents for once. She kept a loving relationship with Damien for years, six years in fact, and she couldn't wait for Damien to propose to her. Carol wanted her future family to have a steady source of money, so she bought a building that she turned into a apartment complex, this seemed like a great idea, but that only made Damien mad, he wanted to use this money to buy a expensive mansion. That created a rift in their relationship, one that Carol worked hard to mend with promises that in the future they would share the mansion Damien wanted. Unfortunately, he just kept pulling away no matter what she said or tried. Everything shattered for her one day that Damien left his phone unlocked on the kitchen, Carol discovered text between him and her sister, Damien was having an affair with none other than her younger sister. She confronted Damien and her Amelie, but her sister didn't showed remorse or shame in the slightest, saying that she could do better than Carol and that Damien deserves better, meanwhile Damien remained quiet and didn't even dared to look at Carol at her eyes. Carol was distraught and expected her parents to at least show her some comfort, but they just told her to let it go, that Amelie was still her sister and shouldn't be mad at her for falling in love. Carol shouted at her parents for always favoring her sister and after a heated argument, she just left her parents house, and when she went to her house, threw everything that belonged to Damien to the trash or burned. It's been years since she had a proper talk with her family and she doesn't plan on having a relationship with them.
