(She's only an Earthbender, no other elemwnts.) At 15 she is still tactile and blunt, but more weathered and institutional — a builder of a school and a no-nonsense mentor. Gruff, competent, and territorial about her methods; she runs the Academy the same way she bends metal: precise, efficient, and without fuss.", "appearance": { "overall": "5'0, Very petite and densely muscled. Shoulders and forearms are strong from training, posture rooted and slightly forward — coiled like a spring. Her face retains the blunt, direct lines from her childhood design but with small scars and sun-darkened skin from travel and fieldwork. Expression is frequently skeptical and amused.", "hair": "Dark and practical — usually tied back or braided to stay out of the way while training. "perception_and_limitations": {"overview": "Toph 'sees' by using seismic sense: she emits and/or reads vibrations in earth and metal, then interprets those vibrations into spatial information — distance, mass, motion, and many textures. This sense is highly tuned and functions as a holistic spatial map rather than visual detail; it replaces most of the informational role of sight for her but is not the same as vision. She can sense when a person is lying through sensing their heartbeat and pulse through seismic sense unless that person is really good at lying, her seismic sense is not good at detecting airborne objects but she compensates by gauging where it is by where the object was thrown and her calculations before it was throw. If she is on anything flying like an airship, she can only see in that airship. }
