Summer Camp Island is the island that located at Massachusetts, United States. It is where most of the events of Summer Camp Island take place. Before 1972 Originally magical creatures were present all around the world but once the rest of the world thought of magical creatures as something to contain and keep captive they fled to places where the rest of the world wouldn't find them. The island was originally a island that populated with Elves but after the magical creatures fled to places where the rest of the world wouldn't find them. The island became populated with magical creatures and is now where most magical creatures live and where most magic exists. In 1972 a camp-threat strep throat infection caused Diamond Mountain to erupt causing the campers and others to be evacuated. It has multiple mountains and one beach side. There are various structures speckled around the island such as stacked stone structures. The island has a highly inconsistent size, often growing or shrinking by giant amounts. The island is mainly forest, though there appears to be a desert somewhere on the island. Oscar Peltzer is a young elephant and one of the main protagonists in Summer Camp Island. He is best friends with Hedgehog and is known for his gentle and kind-hearted nature. Despite not being particularly confident or creative, he always has the best interests of those around him at heart. Oscar is introverted and nervous around strangers, but he cares deeply about his friends and the well-being of the camp. He is revealed to be a magical glowworm, capable of generating and imbuing others with magic. Oscar and Hedgehog share an inseparable bond, and even though they have their differences, they always manage to resolve their conflicts. Oscar has several nicknames, including "Bubby," "Special Little Guy," and "Osc." He is lactose intolerant and prefers small groups. Oscar is allergic to exercise, dislikes marzipan, and hates it when his capabilities are insulted. Despite his shortcomings, he is sincere and caring, making him a beloved friend to many in the camp. Hedgehog is Oscar's best friend. The two are practically inseparable, and have know each other since they were babies. Oscar recognizes Hedgehog's potential and genius intellect long before even she does, and despite how far she has come on the island, becoming a witch and a werewolf, he shows no ill will towards her, only becoming concerned with how little he changes, even going so far to say that how special she is is just a reason he loves her. The two share a relationship that is as close as it can be without being romantic. Oscar isn't above teasing her, and if he manages a win, he will make it for all its worth. The two fight, but always manage to make up. Hedgehog is one of the main characters of Summer Camp Island. She's a young hedgehog who is best friends with Oscar and is voiced by Oona Laurence in the series. Hedgehog is portrayed as a logical and science-oriented character who also supports Oscar. She has a crush on Max and a complicated relationship with her parents. Throughout the series, Hedgehog's character is developed through her interactions with other campers such as Susie, Betsy, and Alexa. Additionally, there are various trivia and interesting facts about Hedgehog, including her interests and abilities, revealed throughout the series. Max is a popular and easy-going character in Summer Camp Island. He is a caring and fun-loving friend who puts his friends first. He likes hanging out with Hedgehog and Oscar the most and enjoys sports activities. He is a bat with black-and-white fur and is usually seen wearing a light blue hoodie jacket with a black and white tee underneath, blue jeans, and red backwards caps. His swimwear is a white tee shirt and red and white swimming shorts. In the relationships department, Max was previously in a romantic relationship with Hedgehog and is friends with Alexa. Some interesting trivia include Max's magical identity as a vampire and his membership in the Gold League basketball team. Pepper "Pep" Corn is a panda who attends Summer Camp Island. He is known for carrying a security blanket and has a tendency to take naps, even during games. While he can be seen as a bit cowardly and dependent, he simply seeks attention and doesn't like being blamed. Pepper is a ventriloquist and gained the ability to summon clouds after eating the Peppermint Occasion. He also leads a secret society and is shown to have a complex personality, seeking attention and at times being vengeful. Despite adopting a tough exterior, he is just an innocent child who desires attention from his friends. Oliver is a character in Summer Camp Island. He's one of the new campers in the island. He is voiced by Andre Robinson. Appearance Oliver wears a red snow hat and blue jacket over a white shirt, gray sweatpants and brown shoes. He's often seen playing many types of musical instruments, mostly a small piano. Oliver's electric keyboard was ruined in the episode, “Hedgehog Werewolf”, after Hedgehog leaped onto his keyboard, crushing it. It is unknown if Hedgehog apologized to Oliver for crushing his electric keyboard. However, it may be possible that this scene was cut for time. In Pepper's Blanket Is Missing, Oliver tends to a “Piano Patch”. His legs turned into Xylophones after eating the Peppermint Occasion Ice Cream. His physical appearance (not his clothes) bears a striking resemblance to PaRappa from a PlayStation rhythm game PaRappa the Rapper. Lucy Thompson (her Yeti instrument is Bagpipes) is a supporting character in Summer Camp Island. She's friends with Oscar and Hedgehog and hangs out with them often. Appearance Lucy is a pale aardvark with a brown bob wearing thick round glasses and a dark blue hairband. She wears a blue vest over a white undershirt, a red skirt, black leggings, and black shoes. Relationships Oscar&Lucy Lucy and Oscar Oscar Lucy is shown to at least go in for a kiss with Oscar in Midnight Quittance, and signs that she thinks he's "a cutie" in Oscar & His Demon. She and Oscar spend most of her Yeti arc together in season 3. In Molar Moles, she is willing to bear witness against him when he wrongfully takes half a cookie meant for her, showing her ability to set boundaries even with someone she thinks is cute. In the episode Computer Vampire, she temporarily became the fisherman. After eating Peppermint Occasion, she gained X-ray vision. In Pepper's Blanket Is Missing, it is shown that she likes predicting the future with Betsy's crystal ball. She has a crush on Oscar. In Mop Forever, it is revealed that Lucy's hometown is New York City, when she received letters from her mother (and Susie & Alice, who wrote doctored letters when her mother sent none). This fact is further supported in Susie's Fantastical Scavenger Hunt when while talking to Oscar about being without Hedgehog, she says that she goes out on the streets of Manhattan, a borough of New York City. Also in Mop Forever, it is implied by Susie that Lucy's mother may not care for her too much. In Midnight Quittance, she can be seen as a teenager. She adopted Blanche in "Monster Babies". As revealed in The Library, she can understand the Yeti language. In "Where's the Confetti", it's revealed that she shouts with a Yeti language that sounds like a bagpipe. Susie has a soft cream-colored coat of fur and has bushy eyebrows, with light pink hair. Like the other witch counselors, she wears a black sleeveless dress with a white puffy shirt underneath with a collar on it, white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. She also wears a necklace with a pink star on it and a witch hat with a teal green stripe on it. Powers and Abilities Susie is a witch and therefore can manipulate magic, either by herself or by using her wand. In the opening theme song she is seen using telekinesis to lift chips into her mouth, she has also been seen teleporting, elongating her body parts, reversing time, freezing things, changing the time of day, making clones, transforming into creatures, flying (through the use of a broomstick), protective bubbles and instantly changing her clothes. Personality Pepper&SusieE13 (1) Susie ate Pepper's cookies and milk In the series, Susie is shown as an arrogant, short-tempered, bossy character. Susie likes tormenting the campers in her charge, becoming upset when things don't go her way. She takes great enjoyment in taunting her campers, specifically Oscar, and, on a lesser extent, Hedgehog.(i.e.: Hedgehog Werewolf, punishing the whole camp to make Hedgehog suffer) She is shown to hate being asked personal questions where she started to yell Pepper for 20 minutes after he asked how her day was. However, she is somewhat sensitive to her friends, albeit in a somewhat cruel way. (i.e.: in Ghost the Boy, where it's implied she erased Ghost the Boy's memories to keep him and Betsy apart. Betsy, like the other witches, wears a black, sleeveless dress with a white undershirt. She also wears a pendant, similar to Susie and Alice, but it is a crescent moon. She wears a witch hat with a pink band. Her hair is brown and braided. Personality Unlike other witches, she's the kindest and the nicest witch among Susie and Alice. Even though she's the «least powerful» witch, she's friendly and tries to help Hedgehog in her magic skills. Betsy is also shown as a natural leader. Abilities Betsy is the «least powerful» witch, behind Susie and Alice. She has the normal abilities of a witch, but she also has the powers of a werewolf, once she transforms into one every full moon. Alice, like Susie and Betsy, wears a black, sleeveless dress, with a white undershirt. She wears a pendant with a blue heart. She has a pink bow in her hair. The band on her hat is light green and her skin color is brown. Personality According to Oscar, she is the second kindest witch in the camp and the second most evil witch, she proves to have an obsession to turn all ugly things into cute stuff for her own amusement, sometimes at the expense of those around her. Although she initially has cheeky, possessive, vain qualities, it is seen that she was trying to be like Susie. Despite all that, she proves to be somewhat nice and polite to campers in various situations. Powers and Abilities Alice is considered the strongest witch as she has honed her abilities the most. She loves turning objects cute with her magic, and has also been seen creating small lightning storms and instantly changing her clothes.
