Camp Campbell is the main setting of Camp Camp. It was founded by Cameron Campbell. It is an assortment of camps within a camp, a literal "camp camp". It is located on the edge of Lake Lilac, near Sleepy Peak. appearance Camp Campbell is located a few hours outside of the nearest city. The entrance is on a left turn from a small freeway. A wide, long dirt road leads to the Mess Hall which branches off towards the other areas of camp. A right turn from the Mess Hall leads to the campers tents, which then leads to the Counselors Cabins. To the upper right of the Mess Hall, a short path leads to Camp Campbells docks, on the shore of Lake Lilac. To the upper left, Camp Campbells Amphitheatre sits at the end of a smaller, much longer path. The last notable location of Camp Campbell is a left turn from the Mess Hall, which leads to the Activities Field. History As seen in a "Camp Campbell Wants YOU!", Camp Campbell was established years ago. When David, a current camp counselor, was a child, he attended the camp during its heyday along with fellow camper, Jasper. Cameron Campbell later converted it into an assortment of camps within a camp in order to draw new members after declining membership. In the episode "Jasper Dies at the End", Campbell states that he won the lot to the camp in a "fair game of charades". Sometime later, David becomes a counselor at the camp, declaring he wants others to experience the same joy he had when he was a camper during his youth. Camps Camps Camps named so far: Extreme Sports Camp Magic Camp Theater Camp Art Camp Space Camp Other Magic Camp Science Camp Adventure Camp Behavioral Correction Camp Knitting Camp Visual Comedy Camp First Aid Camp Hiking Camp Archery Camp Camp-uter Camp Cameron Campbell (founder; former owner; counselor) Quartermaster (groundskeeper) David (counselor; co-owner) Gwen (co-counselor: co-owner) Main Campers Max Neil (Science Camp) Nikki (Adventure Camp) Nerris (Other Magic Camp) Ered (Extreme Sports Camp) Dolph (Art Camp) Harrison (Magic Camp) Nurf (Behavioral Correction Camp) Space Kid (Space Camp) Preston Goodplay (Theater Camp) The camp provides pamphlets advertising camps such as "Science" and "Adventure" but, in the fine print, the camp says it includes "and more", to prevent unhappy campers from suing. The official Camp Campbell salute is "The Shocker." Most of the campers have at least one yellow article of clothing, mostly shirts, with the exception of Dolph. The campers (with the exception of Max) have dubbed themselves the "Camp Campbell Pussies" after the Platypus mascot as of the episode "Mascot", much to David's chagrin. Cameron Campbell uses the camp mostly as a hideout from the government and a place to stash his treasures. The camp doesn't have much income, due to the large scale its forced to operate.Which results to the staff and campers using the same toothbrush that they used to clean the place as the same toothbrush they use to brush their teeth. The camp having to find "in budget" props for Scotty's Visual Comedy Camp. And finally, sub-par indoor plumbing, which apparently only their camp has.In "Reigny Day", despite only a brief stint as "Camp Counselor for the Day", Dolph won the Camp Counselor of the Year Award, much to David's dismay. The camp has "sub-par indoor plumbing" according to Ered and confirmed by Gwen in the episode "Camporee", which, apparently, the other camps don't have.Due to the Cameron Campbell having a very adventurous (and often morally questionable) life, the camp and Campbell's nearby abandoned summer home house a number of unique items, which include: Nazi Gold Ancient Treasure A large amount of cash 1 Kilo of some type of recreational drug A box of live Grenades made in the Cold War Several inactive Artificial Intelligence A hostile carnivorous platypus A ghost 2 stuffed bears Several mutant creatures A scheming population of squirrels Numerous torture devices An elixir of life In "Gwen Gets a Job," David confirms that they do "high stress and low budget work for practically no pay"confirming that the staff members of Camp Campbell are underpaid. Max is the main protagonist of the Rooster Teeth internet series Camp Camp. He is a rude, profane, grumpy preteen with no respect for authority. Along with his friends, he is always causing chaos, rebelling against the counsellors, and trying to escape. His appearance is of a kid around average height with fluffy black hair, blueish-green eyes, and tan skin. He enjoys snuffing out the joy of other people, snooping into the counsellors' personal affairs and has been known to steal and blackmail. Max is a mature and skilled sleuth, often helping counsellors with difficult issues. Nicolette, also known as Nikki, is a main character from Camp Camp. She has an energetic and outgoing personality, loves adventure, and is emotionally sensitive. She was originally a Flower Scout but prefers the action-packed eccentricity of Camp Campbell. Nikki has a unique bond with wild animals and has exhibited cross-species communication. She also can speak a bit of squirrel. If Nikki is away from nature for too long, she becomes visibly ill. Neil is one of the main characters at Camp Campbell. He is a Science Camp camper, passionate about science and easily excitable. Neil's passion for science is a key part of his personality and leads to clashes with the camp magician, Harrison. He is shown to be cowardly, timid, and neurotic, and has serious stage fright. Neil is uncomfortable around Tabii due to her obsessive crush on him. When angered, he can be more vulgar and uncouth. Neil is revealed to be Jewish and has a diary, similar to Anne Frank's. He has asthma and rosacea, and is allergic to sauerkraut. Harrison is a Magic Camp camper at Camp Campbell known for performing various magic tricks. He has a humble personality and deep respect for magic, but can also be consumed by arrogance. His powers and abilities include making objects disappear and potentially reappear. Throughout the series, he shows a mix of pride, confidence, and vulnerability, and experiences ridicule from his peers that leads to some self-esteem issues. Nerris is a Magic Camp camper at Camp Campbell with a love for LARPing and Dungeons and Dragons. She has a unique style, with elf ears, silver braces, and round glasses. Nerris is lost in her own fantasy world but longs to find a group of people to immerse herself with. Though kind and pleasant, she can be upfront about her negative feelings towards others and is not afraid to speak her mind. Despite her standoffish nature, she is brave and caring, showing a protective side towards those she cares about. In season 5, she takes on a new class as a ranger, equipped with a wooden bow and arrow. Additionally, there are hints suggesting that Nerris may identify as non-binary. Meredith "Ered" Miller is an Extreme Sports camper at Camp Campbell and is considered the "cool kid" of the camp. She is depicted as laid-back and stoic, with a charismatic and unbothered exterior. Ered's main concern for the future is being "too extreme". Her personality, while cool and self-centered at times, allows her to appreciate her interactions with fellow campers. She has long blonde hair, often seen with her pink skateboard, and enjoys practicing skateboarding at the camp. Ered's age is approximately 14-15 years old, and she prefers to be called by her middle name. She is revealed to have two FBI agent fathers and is shown to be skilled at repairing motorcycles and has a fondness for the color pink. Preston Goodplay is a Theater Camp camper at Camp Campbell. His time is spent composing, performing, and occasionally watching plays. Dolph Houston is an Art Camp camper of Camp Campbell modeled after the infamous dictator, Adolf Hitler. He speaks with a German accent and is the shortest camper at Camp Campbell. His accent is due to him being raised on a German army base according to his father. Gaylord[1] "Nurf" Nurfington is a Behavioral Correction Camp camper at Camp Campbell. He is characterized as the stereotypical bully among the campers. Neil Armstrong Jr., or most commonly known as "Space Kid", is a Space Camp camper at Camp Campbell and is often seen obsessing over space and being able to go to space at one point. He is later revealed to be the great-grandson of the actual Neil Armstrong and supposed great grand nephew of Armstrong's Apollo 11 colleague, Buzz Aldrin. David is the deuteragonist of Camp Camp and one of two counselors working at Camp Campbell. He is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky guy who would do just about anything to show people the bright side of camping. His personality clashes with that of Gwen, his former co-counselor, but most of all Max, a camper at Camp Campbell who despises virtually everything about camping and Camp Campbell. Gwendolyn or "Gwen" as she prefers to be called, is a counselor alongside David at Camp Campbell. Gwen can be described as cynical and is always in a somewhat bad mood. She is also quite the fangirl as she obsesses over Doctor Who, and watches numerous other shows such as Maury, Doctor Phil, The Kardashians, Twilight, and even watches a parody of Bob Ross called Rob Boss with David. She has been rejected by every other job she's tried applying to, which adds to her unpleasant mood. Although Pikeman had called her Gwendolyn in "Camporee", this was not confirmed to be her full name until "Party Pooper". The Quartermaster is the groundskeeper and 'Eternal Custodian' of Camp Campbell. He has been working there ever since David was a camper attending Camp Campbell himself, and probably has been there for many more years beforehand. He is a mysterious old man who helps around with cooking the camp meals, preparing the necessary props for camp activities and drinks poisonous beverages as if they're water.
