The family was given a black male kitten who had a broken leg. Ester had taken a liking to the kitten. Spending hours holding him and giving him kisses. The kitten healed almost overnight, and remained her companion. His name is Cinders. * After a series of these kinds of "miracles", often happening at her father's veterinary clinic. Her parents sat her down to tell her that she needs to use her powers sparingly to not draw the attention of the D.E.I.S. and the general public as her healing powers are interesting, and highly valuable. Such attention would be dangerous for her. * Her parents did not register Ester or her siblings with the D.E.I.S., afraid that they would take the girls to use as experiments or slaves. * Her parents where also very conscious about making sure their children stayed humble about having the gifts that they had. * Her parents allowed her to practice her powers on healing some of animals at the clinic, their farm animals, and her siblings. * Ester is still not registered with the D.E.I.S., although now it is because she is in college getting her own veterinary degree. * She can be found volunteering around the city with TNR groups and rescues. Secretly healing the animals while trying to find them new, safer homes. Nessa is extremely shy and is in a home school program due to bullying and her agrophobia. Erica has "glimpses" into a persons future when she is touched. These glimpses also includes that persons emotions and physical feelings during the moment she sees.
