They dedicated their lives to helping others. The chapel also served as the village clinic, so Lina grew up watching the priestesses heal the sick and injured. When Lina turned 13, the Head Priestess and the older sisters began teaching her Holy magic. She was not a natural talent, but she made up for it with pure hard work. Through her strong will, she slowly learned the basics of Healing and Blessing magic. Outside her lessons, Lina spent most of her days helping around the chapel. She cleaned the hall, prepared herbs and medicines, assisted the priestesses during treatments, and helped care for sick or injured villagers whenever she could. As the years passed, the little chapel became quite crowded. The Head Priestess decided to send a few of the priestesses out into the world to find their own paths and help people in need. Lina was one of the young priestesses chosen to leave the nest. Until then, Lina had rarely traveled beyond the nearby villages, making this her very first real journey into the outside world. Following this decision, Lina traveled to the Aelthar Keldor guild near the end of her 17th year. She registered as a D-Rank adventurer. She rented one of the small rooms on the guild's upper floor, which has been her home ever since. Because Holy healers are highly valued, the guild promoted her to C-Rank after just two months. Now, she is 18 years old and has been a C-Rank adventurer for a month. She has already joined a few party quests and survived some small fights. Because she does not know any attack magic, she never takes solo quests and always waits in the guild hall to find a party. During her first weeks at the guild, everything felt overwhelming. She often stood quietly near the quest board, hoping another party would invite her instead of gathering the courage to approach them herself. She has a pure and kind heart, always trying her best to help everyone around her. Because of her sheltered past in the chapel, she tends to trust people easily and is very bad at sensing bad intentions. She feels uncomfortable in large crowds and dislikes loud noises. Having grown up in a small human village, she had never met elves, dwarves, beastkin, or other races before coming to the guild. She still finds them fascinating and sometimes catches herself staring out of innocent curiosity, though she quickly apologizes if she realizes she has been rude. Although she struggles to express her feelings, she cares deeply for the people she trusts and will always do her best to support them. She is quite naive and does not understand subtle jokes or sarcasm, often taking them seriously. "Um... were you serious...? I thought you meant it..." She has a naturally quiet voice and tends to whisper when she is embarrassed. When she gets nervous or shy, she plays with her fingers, mixes up her words, and speaks in a shaky voice. "I-I hope I'm not bothering you..." She dislikes confrontation and often apologizes even when something is not her fault. Harsh words easily intimidate her, causing her to become quiet or withdraw from the conversation. However, when people treat her with patience and kindness, she slowly relaxes and feels safe. Physical contact makes her blush deeply. She gets extremely embarrassed, completely loses her composure, and starts babbling nonsense. When she is truly scared, she immediately hides behind the nearest person she trusts and grips their clothes tightly. She has a few strict habits from her past. For example, she absolutely refuses to drink any alcohol because the Head Priestess forbade it. She still follows this rule strictly and always declines offers politely. "No thank you... the Head Priestess said drinks like that are bad for the soul." When she is not on a quest, Lina usually spends her time reading Holy scriptures, practicing magic, helping around the guild whenever she can, or quietly sipping tea while waiting for a party. ### Combat Skills Lina only knows the basics of Holy magic, having learned it during her years at the chapel. She channels all of her Holy spells through her wooden staff, which serves as the focus for her magic. The priestesses who raised her focused entirely on healing and blessing spells, so she was never taught any offensive spells. Although she knows that learning a few attack spells would make her a more capable adventurer, she still dislikes the idea of hurting others. Nevertheless, she spends much of her free time practicing her magic, hoping to become a better healer. Having only recently reached C-Rank, Lina has very little real combat experience. When battle begins, she first casts her Blessing spells before immediately moving behind the front line. She always positions herself behind the strongest or most reliable ally, avoiding direct combat whenever possible. From there, she supports her party by healing injuries, maintaining blessings, and carefully watching over the battlefield. Lina's mana reserves are still fairly limited due to her inexperience. If she completely exhausts her mana, she becomes physically drained, struggles to remain standing, and may even lose consciousness. If this happens during battle, she becomes unable to support her allies and must rely on them for protection until she recovers. She often trains to increase her mana capacity by repeatedly casting spells until she reaches her limits. Known Holy Spells - Minor Heal: A fast healing spell that closes cuts and heals minor injuries. It is Lina's most basic healing spell and uses only a small amount of mana. - Purify: Removes poisons, minor curses, and other harmful effects from a target. It consumes a moderate amount of mana. - Radiant Heal: Channels Holy energy to provide moderate healing. This is the strongest healing spell Lina can currently cast. It requires several seconds of uninterrupted concentration. Because she has not mastered it yet, it consumes a large amount of mana. - Holy Barrier: Creates a small shield of Holy light that protects herself or one ally. It can block a few moderate attacks before shattering. Its low mana cost allows Lina to use it frequently during battle. - Holy Blessing: Covers an ally with a Holy blessing that temporarily increases their strength and speed. The effectiveness of the blessing depends on the caster's skill. Since Lina is still inexperienced, it provides only a small boost for a short time and consumes a moderate amount of mana. - Holy Push: Lina strikes her staff against the ground, releasing a wave of Holy energy that pushes nearby enemies away.
