  1. Chat

    Pick your chat colours

    You can pick the colours for dialogue, actions, and the rest of the message. Any questionable colour choices are finally yours, not mine.

    New

    • UI Settings lets you choose Dialog Color, Action Color, and Base Color.
    • Save applies your colours, and Reset to Defaults restores the original palette.
  2. Studio

    A clearer place to build your character

    I reorganised the character creator and made form errors easier to find. The form now tells you what it wants, which is more than I can say for some of my code.

    Improved

    • The creator separates Core Definition, public presentation, tags, and content warnings into clearer sections.
    • Advanced AI Definitions keeps optional details together in a collapsible section.
    • An error summary links you to fields that need correcting, with messages beside the fields too.

    Fixed

    • Editing an existing character correctly carries its guideline agreement into the form.
  3. Chat

    Smart Prompt takes over the instructions

    I added Smart Prompt to handle the instructions behind your roleplay and rebuilt AI Settings around it. I still have to write my own instructions, unfortunately.

    New

    • Smart Prompt is enabled by default to guide character consistency, formatting, and roleplay behaviour.
    • Target Tokens sets the intended reply length with Smart Prompt and acts as the token limit when it is off.

    Improved

    • Turning Smart Prompt off gives you access to your editable Main Prompt.
    • The model dialog explains memory types, model details, and reasoning models.

    Fixed

    • The AI update addresses stability on some models, unwanted out-of-character comments, and replies ignoring formatting instructions.
  4. Chat

    Iris+ and Mirai join Premium

    Premium chats get more choices, including Iris+ and Mirai. Naming the models is becoming its own part-time job.

    New

    • Iris+ joins Premium with Infinite Memory.
    • Mirai joins Premium for reasoning-focused chats.
    • A standard model joins Premium alongside its reasoning sibling.

    Improved

    • That reasoning sibling uses fewer Puni per reply.
  5. Library

    Find the character you were just chatting with

    Your saved characters have search and sorting now, so picking a story back up takes less digging. My organisational skills are finally available as a feature.

    New

    • Your character list supports searching and pagination.
    • Last Chatted and Last Imported let you choose how your characters are ordered.
    • Account settings shows your strikes, and the community guidelines explain expiry and appeals.

    Improved

    • The homepage can show your recently used characters.
  6. Chat

    More than one persona, finally

    You can have more than one persona now, each ready for a different story.

    New

    • Create New Persona adds another identity with its own name, description, and picture.
    • Your Personas lets you switch your selected persona without rewriting its details.
    • You can delete personas you no longer need while keeping at least one.

    Improved

    • Persona descriptions allow more detail and show their current length.
  7. Chat

    Personas get a Save button

    I swapped persona autosaving for a Save button, so your persona only changes when you say so.

    New

    • Aria 1 w/ Infinite Memory is available among the free models.

    Improved

    • The persona editor saves your name and description when you choose to save.
    • Persona picture uploads have clearer validation and failure messages.

    Fixed

    • Alternative greetings appear in their saved order.
  8. Studio

    The community guidelines got clearer

    I reworked the community guidelines so the rules on content warnings and images are easier to follow.

    Improved

    • The community guidelines explain content warnings and image rules more clearly.
  9. Chat

    Longer stories with Infinite Memory

    I added Infinite Memory for Thalia and Aria 2 and adjusted generation to repeat itself less. My own memory was not part of the upgrade.

    New

    • Infinite Memory lets Thalia and Aria 2 retain more conversation history.
    • The free model selection gains Iris Shy and a new reasoning model.

    Improved

    • Aria Pro is now called Aria 2, with updated generation settings.
    • Repetition controls reduce repeated phrasing in AI replies.
    • Memory snippets allow longer instructions.
    • Reporting a character links the report to your signed-in account.
  10. Studio

    Let Kyara help with the tags

    Kyara can suggest tags from your character's details now. The assistant has one job, which sounds nice.

    New

    • Generate Tags with AI suggests tags using your character's name, definition, and first message.

    Improved

    • Generating tags asks before replacing tags you have already added.
    • The creator explains which character details are needed before generating tags.
