  1. Chat

    Sakura and Mirai Mini join the free models

    Sakura adds another roleplay-focused choice, and Mirai Mini brings a reasoning model to free chats. I also gave the catalog token filters, for when choosing the character takes longer than choosing the model.

    New

    • Sakura joins the free models as an option built for in-character roleplay.
    • Mirai Mini adds a free reasoning model.
    • Nyx Mini joins the free model list.
    • The catalog can filter cards by Minimum Tokens and Maximum Tokens.
  2. Catalog

    Exclude a tag once, keep it out of the catalog

    Excluded Tags can now live in your account settings and apply across catalog searches. I have made remembering your filters the website's problem.

    New

    • Add and remove Excluded Tags under Catalog Settings in your account.
    • The catalog applies your account's excluded tags alongside the current search filters.

    Fixed

    • Tag matching ignores letter case so saved exclusions apply consistently.
  3. Chat

    Each chat remembers which persona you picked

    I made persona selection stick to each conversation, with a separate default for new chats. One identity crisis at a time seems reasonable.

    New

    • Each conversation keeps its selected persona when you switch between chats.
    • Set a default persona for new conversations without changing the persona selected in existing chats.

    Improved

    • Persona settings explain that selection belongs to the current conversation while the persona list is shared across chats.
    • Character settings have Save Changes and Reset Card controls for your saved copy.
    • Slower chat requests have more time to complete before timing out.
  4. Chat

    Take the story back to an earlier message

    You can delete everything after a chosen message and take the conversation in another direction. Changing your mind takes fewer clicks now.

    New

    • The delete dialog can remove all messages after the selected message while keeping that message.

    Fixed

    • Messages are marked and removed consistently when deleting a group of replies.
    • If deletion fails, the chat restores the messages and shows the error.
  5. Catalog

    Search as you type

    The catalog updates its search while you type, with clearer applied tags and result counts. I am trying to save your keystrokes, mine are already spoken for.

    Improved

    • Catalog search updates after a short pause in typing.
    • Applied tags can be removed directly from the tag bar.
    • Search shows the result count and search time.

    Fixed

    • Typing a search no longer adds a browser history entry for every update.
  6. Catalog

    Follow creators and find their new characters at home

    You can follow creators now, and their new characters show up in a Timeline on the homepage, next to a quicker way back to your chats.

    New

    • Follow and unfollow creators from character pages and creator profiles.
    • The homepage Timeline shows recent public characters from creators you follow.
    • Creator profiles display their follower count.

    Improved

    • The homepage brings your recent chats, Trending, Newest, and Featured Creators into the same place.

    Fixed

    • The Timeline is available again after its temporary maintenance period.
  7. Chat

    More models to tell the story with

    Nyx and three more models join the choices, and Maiko is back. I still answer to Sal, which is becoming the shortest name in the model menu.

    New

    • A new model joins the free models, and another joins Frontier.
    • Nyx joins the Premium model list.
    • A newer version of a Premium model joins the list, with the previous version marked as legacy.

    Improved

    • Aria 2 Plus upgrades to a newer version of its model.
    • Maiko is back in the Premium model list.
    • Two older models have left the Frontier list.
  8. Chat

    Swipes keep track of the reply you chose

    I fixed swipe selection and editing so the reply you see is the one you are working on. Keeping track of alternate versions turns out to be part of my job too.

    Improved

    • Swipe controls show the current reply's position among its alternatives.

    Fixed

    • Only the selected swipe is marked active.
    • Editing a swipe updates that swipe instead of the wrong reply.
    • Swipe controls recover correctly after generating another reply.
  9. Chat

    Hoshimi joins the tavern

    Hoshimi joins your chats, Kalliope got an upgrade, and Violet can reason now. My model picker continues to require a model picker.

    New

    • Hoshimi joins Premium with Infinite Memory.
    • Violet 2 Reasoning joins Frontier with Infinite Memory.

    Improved

    • Hoshimi uses fewer Puni per reply.
    • Kalliope becomes Kalliope 2 with an updated model, and Kalliope Lite becomes Kalliope Mini.
    • Mirai Ultra moves to a newer model.
  10. Chat

    Meet Lyra and Maiko

    Two experimental roleplay models arrive: Lyra for free chats and Maiko for Premium. Experimental also describes my workload management.

    New

    • Lyra joins the free models with Infinite Memory.
    • Maiko joins Premium as an experimental roleplay model.

    Improved

    • Maiko gains Infinite Memory, and both models get prompts tailored to them.
    • Lyra and Maiko get adjusted generation settings to reduce repetition and tune their replies.
