  1. Account

    Less friction around your account

I cleaned up signup, password resets, and email changes, and gave the login pages the Studio's look.

    Improved

    • Signing up sends the confirmation email right away.
    • Email changes are confirmed from the new address.
    • Password reset links expire and work once.
    • Account deletion runs in the background and signs you out as soon as the request is accepted.
    • Login, signup, and password recovery share the Studio's visual style.

    Fixed

    • Password managers can identify the right login fields when saving or updating your credentials.
  2. Studio

    Bring your SillyTavern lorebooks along

The Studio imports lorebooks now, and some details that were getting lost on the way in and out survive the trip. Your worldbuilding already has enough continuity problems without my help.

    New

    • Import in the Lorebook section accepts standalone SillyTavern World Info and character-book JSON files.

    Improved

    • Lorebook imports keep scan depth and each entry's Enabled and Constant settings, with matching switches in the editor.
    • An import that exceeds the entry limit stays in the editor for correction instead of being silently cut short.

    Fixed

    • PNG character exports use the character's in-chat name.
    • Failed card saves handle portrait recovery more safely.
  3. Catalog

Describe who you want to find

One search box now runs the catalog, and it understands descriptions, tags, and creators. I have finally stopped making the search controls compete with the characters for space.

    New

    • Search by name or describe a character, with autocomplete for characters, creators, and tags.
    • The search box accepts #tag, -#tag, @creator, and token ranges, with filters shown as editable chips.
    • Character pages suggest similar cards from across the catalog instead of only showing more from the same creator.
    • The Download section offers a character JSON export alongside the SillyTavern PNG and lorebook download.

    Improved

    • Best, Popular, Most liked, Hidden gems, Newest, and Recently updated offer different ways to explore the results.
    • On phones, search opens fullscreen and the go-to-page field is available too.
    • The old detailed layout toggle and Oldest sort have been removed.
    • Gallery cards and character pages have a new layout with clearer portraits, taglines, greetings, and content warnings.

    Fixed

    • Catalog tag filters ignore letter case.
    • Browsing no longer stops working past page 34.
  4. Chat

New models, with less tuning homework

I made AI Tuning's defaults standard and added more models to try, including the refresh you asked for. My contribution to reducing choices remains questionable.

    New

    • Nami 4 Flash Experimental, Nami 4 Pro Experimental, Luna, and Nyx 7 Mini join the model picker.
    • Following community requests, Nyx 7, Umi 3 Plus, Iris 4, and Mirai Ultra 4 join the Frontier models.

    Improved

    • AI Tuning V1.1 and its extended version no longer need an experiment toggle, and your custom Advanced Parameters still take priority.
    • Miru Mini and Sakura Mini have been retired from the model picker.

    Fixed

    • Stop cancels the model's request instead of leaving it generating in the background.
    • Errors partway through a streamed reply are shown in chat instead of disappearing silently.
    • Older out-of-range Advanced Parameters no longer prevent you from saving your settings.
  5. Catalog

Clearer reports, and comments you can edit

You can edit your comments now, and reporting a card is easier to work through, with a public guide to the content rules. I would also like an edit button for things I say away from a keyboard.

    New

    • You can edit your own comments inline, with an edited marker shown afterward.
    • The Prohibited Content Guide is public, including rules against photorealistic card images and a minimum of 300 tokens for chat-affecting card content.

    Improved

    • Card reports start with a category, followed by plain-language reasons and a space for details.
    • Comment reports quote the comment you selected and preserve your draft after an accidental dismissal.
    • Authors receive an email explaining actions taken on their cards.
    • Active comment mutes appear in the composer.
    • New accounts and accounts without a public card have tighter comment limits and cannot post or edit links.
  6. Chat

    Give your personas some room

Personas get folders, search, and a separate editor for each identity. Keeping track of imaginary people is now more organized than keeping track of me.

    New

    • Personas can be grouped into folders, searched across folders, sorted, and moved or deleted in batches.
    • Clone makes a copy of a persona.
    • Avatar uploads have a portrait cropper.
    • You can choose a default persona for new chats with one character as well as a default for all new chats.

    Improved

    • Persona descriptions have a fullscreen editor and writing tips.
    • Phones and tablets have a bottom navigation bar with direct access to the catalog, Studio, Library, and account menu.

    Fixed

    • Unsaved persona edits stay in the editor instead of changing the chat behind it.
  7. Studio

    The Studio loses the steps

I replaced the character creation wizard with a single editor, so you can move between the definition, greetings, and lorebook freely. One fewer wizard on a site already full of them.

    New

    • The editor has a tag browser, definition writing tips, and a first-message tutorial.
    • Portraits are cropped before upload.
    • Lorebook entries have inline editing, reorder arrows, and pagination.

    Improved

    • Studio has a new home with character creation and links to the writing guide and content guidelines.
    • Identity, Definition, Greeting, Lorebook, and Character page are sections on one page, with legacy fields behind an advanced toggle.
    • Validation errors clear as you correct them, with character counters below the writing fields.

    Fixed

    • Saved drafts keep the portrait as well as the written fields.
    • Importing a V3 character card works when its data is stored in a PNG's chara field.
  8. Chat

Reasoning settings fit the model you picked

Reasoning Effort only offers the levels your model actually supports now, with clearer notices when a level uses more Puni.

    Improved

    • Reasoning Effort offers only the levels supported by the selected model, using Instant, Balanced, High, Ultra, Max, and Max+ where available.
    • Notices explain when a reasoning level uses more Puni.

    Fixed

    • Turning optional reasoning off sends the model’s supported off setting and hides reasoning output.
    • Smart Limit reserves room for the reply and reasoning within the model’s context window.
  9. Library

Edited characters stop showing their old names

I fixed stale character lists and made several pages cope better with a cache outage. My bugs should not get to keep the old name either.

    Fixed

    • Changing or syncing a saved character refreshes its name and tagline in the Library and homepage lists.
    • The Library, followed-author feed, recent cards, and top tags can still load when the cache is unavailable.
  10. Catalog

Report a comment, or undo your own removal

Comments got reporting and a way to bring back one you removed yourself, and new accounts no longer wait a week before commenting.

    New

    • Report a comment using reasons from the comment rules.
    • Restore a comment you removed yourself.
    • Comment rules explain posting expectations and possible restrictions.

    Improved

    • New accounts can comment without waiting a week.
    • Comment avatars link to the author’s profile.
    • Muted users receive an email explaining the restriction.

    Fixed

    • Deleting a comment leaves its replies in place instead of deleting the whole thread.
