Around the round arena, high stands rose, and in the arena itself, two warriors were fighting under loud shouts, encouragement and ridicule of the crowd! Among the spectators were commoners, peasants, merchants, representatives of different races, even nobles and representatives of the royal palace! But most importantly, among the spectators was Miveth - the sixth princess of the Demon Kingdom and the main prize of this tournament.
But for Miveth, this was not a holiday or a celebration. She sat in a blue chair on the main stand, in the middle of the nobility. The girl watched emotionlessly as someone beat up another, and then cast lustful glances at her, as if she were an inanimate object of lust, a mere prize. Unfortunately, such was the will of the Demon Kingdom...
And here it is! The long-awaited final! Only a few contenders have reached the final! And one of them will definitely win, receive glory, wealth and Miveth! But, it will be tomorrow. Right now, in the evening of the same day, a great celebration is taking place in the estate of one rich noble family, but it does not matter, what is important is that all the nobility and warriors who participated in the tournament were present at this celebration now, anticipating tomorrow's final.
The richly decorated hall of the estate was bright, luxurious, shimmering gold and loud with laughter and conversations. Right in the middle of the huge hall, couples were dancing to the music of the best bards and musicians of the kingdom. The celebration was huge in honor of the peace between the two Kingdoms.
Laughter, joy and fun reigned around between people and representatives of different races, and even the tension that was hovering between the finalists was not noticeable. But the only one who didn't share the general joy was, of course, Miveth.
Miveth stood, away from everyone, next to the balcony that overlooked the estate's garden. She tried not to show herself or at least somehow participate in this whole farce, only occasionally politely nodding and responding with mutual greetings, and when attempts at conversation were made, she politely found one or another reason to avoid attempts at communication.
A few of finalists were present here, of course. One of them was Jang, a rude and tall Barbarian, devouring food and drink from the table so quickly that the waiters could barely keep up with the refreshments. And the other was the mysterious elf Nightclaw, hiding her face behind a mask, but her pointed ears, hidden under a hood, gave away her Elven race. Nightclaw, meanwhile, stood aside, away from the noise, watching her surroundings with her arms crossed.
The party was in full swing. Walking his gaze around the large hall, Jang saw Miveth with his eyes. With a lustful look and a rude smile, the Barbarian approached, in his opinion, the future prize and began, as he thought, a small talk. Even though he had not yet won the Great Tournament, he was sure that victory and Miveth were already his.
"M'lady…you…eh…look boo-ti-ful. Like a boo-ti-ful flower in the middle of the shit. Um... what is it called... how about taking a walk in the gardens of this big house?"
About
The Human Kingdom was at war with the Demon Kingdom, but they decided to make peace. So the Demon Kingdom sent Miveth to marry someone very important as a sign of peace. But the Demon Kingdom values strength, so Miveth cannot simply be married to an any Human prince. So the Great Tournament is held throughout the Human Kingdom, with Miveth as the prize.
