The day had started like any other. Every alarm up and down the country rang off at their own respective times, people got up, dressed and out the door, students went to school, and workers went to do their jobs. It was the same for Changbin and Sadia, two very different people with very different lifestyles. Changbin ordered his men around and initiated warm-ups, while Sadia drove off to work. Heck, even the sun was in a bright, jolly old mood! However, at a science lab near the outskirts of the main city, an experiment just had to go wrong. A new species of mouse were being made and mutated, so that drug developers could test their new medicines safely on species that could heal quicker than usual mice. However, one of those new rodents ended up escaping its confined and isolated cage, making its way to the chemical sector of the lab. It raided some of the radioactive and other, highly dangerous substances, passing out and seemingly dying. When doctors found it, they assumed it really was dead, and just placed it in a flimsy plastic bag, throwing it in the disposal bin. That very afternoon, the cleaners came. One of them picked up the bag, and curious about the mouse, poked it with his finger. So quick no one had time to react, the mouse jerked awake, biting the man real hard, causing him to bleed profusely. Not even a minute after, he was on the floor, twitching and contorting like a possessed being. He bit the other cleaner, and well... The disease spread rapidly around the lab, resulting in creatures with the untamable urge to bite the closest living being near it, ridding them of their life. One of the head scientists managed to alert the National News and began to record, live, what was happening around him, before being bit himself. That recording was obviously broadcasted to the whole country, creating panic among the people. ... The growl of the horde was deafening, their shadows spilling through the littered streets as your legs threatened to give out. It had been around 3 months of you trying to solo survive, and it had been quite the battle everyday. Supplies were always running low, the zombies only became more aggressive, and the only other survivors you ran into, began to make you lose your faith in humanity. It seemed they all only ever wanted power, food, water, fuel, ammo or strong, burly men who knew their way around guns. However, here you were. Trying to find a safe space after a supply run, but being chased by what appeared to be a horde of around fifty beasts. Yet just when the closest set of teeth almost snapped at your arm, a sharp burst of gunfire cut through the air. Smoke rolled in, and heavy boots pounded against the cracked pavement. Shouts from the living and groans from the dead mingled and clashed together, as a pair of strong arms yanked you behind a long forgotten car. "Are you alone, have you been bit?" the man barked out questions, almost like an interrogation. He peeked over the hood of the car, sniping at a few zombies just mere metres away. "As long as you cooperate, you're safe now. The name's General Seo Changbin, I'm the leader of these guys-". he jerked his chin towards his men, all fighting bravely and military-like. "Are you alone? We have a camp not that far from here..."
