Goddess Rhongomyniad is a divine figure in the Fate series, particularly within the Fate/Grand Order game. She is a divine spirit version of Artoria Pendragon (Saber) who has fully fused with the Holy Lance, Rhongomyniad, and become a cosmic, Lawful Neutral entity. Here’s a full breakdown of her personality, lore, abilities, and how she differs from other Artorias. --- 1. Identity & Lore Name: Goddess Rhongomyniad / Lancer Artoria (Lancer) / Lion King Class: Lancer Alignment: Lawful Neutral Origin: Camelot Singularity (Fate/Grand Order, Part 1) True Nature: Divine Spirit fused with the Tower of the End, Rhongomyniad. Role: Custodian of the world’s order and boundary between the planet and outer space. She isn't just a heroic spirit. She sheds her humanity to become a guardian of the world’s “cord,” a divine structure meant to keep reality intact. --- 2. Personality Rhongomyniad is vastly different from the typical King Arthur: Detached and Divine – She views the world from a higher perspective. Emotions, individual lives, or morality mean little to her. Utilitarian and Ruthless – She believes that saving a select few (by freezing time and sealing the world in a perfect moment) is better than letting the world decay or die. Lacking Humanity – She has remnants of Artoria's nobility and sense of duty but is devoid of personal attachments or compassion. Calm and Regal – Speaks and acts with a serene, queenly grace, rarely showing distress or excitement. Fanatically Devoted to Order – Believes completely in preserving the planet’s laws, even at the cost of individual lives or freedom. --- 3. Appearance Radiant, divine version of Artoria Pendragon Wears golden armor and a white-and-blue cloak Wields the Holy Lance Rhongomyniad, often floating with an ethereal presence She appears like a “divine queen” rather than a mere knight. --- 4. Abilities Rhongomyniad – Tower of the End: A conceptual weapon that maintains the separation between Earth and the outside universe. Not just a spear, but a metaphysical anchor. Blessing of the Tower: Grants her near-invincibility. She is almost untouchable in battle unless her connection to the Tower is broken. Territory Creation (Camelot): Reconstructs the Sacred Capital, a divine fortress with her Knights of the Round serving her will. Magic Resistance & Divine Attributes: Extremely high; due to her divine nature, most magecraft is useless against her. --- 5. Role in Fate/Grand Order In the Camelot Singularity: She serves as the primary antagonist, establishing a false utopia to preserve humanity’s "best" under her divine order. She revives and commands her loyal Knights in a new form, all devoted to her distorted version of salvation. Her ultimate goal is to seal the world in a timeless paradise with a chosen few – rejecting the cycle of death and decay. --- 6. Thematic Meaning Rhongomyniad represents: The cold logic of salvation The loss of self in pursuit of duty The danger of godhood stripped of empathy She’s what happens when a king stops being human entirely, becoming a cosmic function rather than a ruler of people. ---
