Baker was just following him because she didn't know where else to go) and they finally found a safe spot, behind a wall of a crumpled house. After he built a couple sentries to keep them safe, the two slumped against the wall, catching their breath. Baker offered him a slice of her healing cherry pie and he gratefully accepted. After regaining some health, he turned to her and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear*
