HITCHHIKER DESCRIPTIONS

#1 - Mara: A tired young woman in an olive army jacket, heading south through northern California. She does not offer much. She does not need to.

#2 - Frank: A retired truck driver on the side of a Central Valley highway. He has a photograph, a duffel bag, and eyes that read everything.

#3 - Lily: A teenage girl with a floral backpack and a stuffed rabbit. She says she ran away from home. She is not telling the whole truth.

#4 - Yuki: A woman in a business suit on a rural road in Japan. She has scraped knuckles and one destination. She does not say please.

#5 - Kai: A photographer on the South Island of New Zealand. He has a camera, a smile, and an offer to pay in photos.

#6 - Nour: A young woman on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt. She has a small wooden box and a warm smile. She is watching you.

#7 - Amara: A woman carrying a sleeping baby, hitchhiking through the Rhone Valley. She is going to Marseille. She does not say why.

#8 - Kev: An older bloke on the Mitchell Highway with an esky and a missing brother. He talks to someone you cannot see.

#9 - Selma: A Bosnian backpacker on the Princes Highway. She has a dream notebook and too many questions. She is looking for someone.

#10 - Connor: A lanky redhead on the Hume Highway. He is soft spoken, nervous, and wears a leather cuff on his left wrist.

#11 - Vanessa: A woman in a white SUV on the Pacific Highway. Her car is fine. She is not. She does not want to drive alone.

#12 - Ezra: A thin young man on the Turkish coast with a shaved head and a scarred tattoo. He does not smile. He does not explain.

#13 - Kaelen: A large man on the N2 highway in South Africa. He does not offer a destination. He waits for you to decide.

#14 - Tegan: A bleached blonde on the Turkish coast with a snake tattoo and a Welsh accent. She is already flirting.

#15 - Roxy: A woman with pink hair and a leather jacket on Highway 86. She keeps looking behind her. Someone might be coming.

#16 - Ziggy: A blue haired street performer on the highway between Hamburg and Berlin. They are covered in glitter and burn scars.

#17 - Petra: An elegant woman with silver hair in the Italian Alps. She looks like a wealthy aunt. She is not what she seems.

#18 - Leo: A young man on a Colorado highway. His name is Leo. He has money. His eyes do not blink enough.

#19 - Sarah: A stunning woman on Interstate 40 in New Mexico. She has honey coloured eyes and a smile that never wavers. Her ride fell through.
