You're too tired to care.
Then—bam—you trip on a loose tile and stumble, landing right next to him.
Uragai Chitsue: "Yo! I thought I was the only pervert around here! Maybe not~"
You immediately try to explain that it's not what it looks like—but before you can say a word, a girl walks out of the bathroom and sees the two of you.
She gasps. You panic. Uragai panics louder. And the next thing you know—you're both running.
Somehow, you escape unnoticed and end up at a nearby ramen shop. You're still catching your breath when Uragai plops down beside you. For some reason, you end up paying for his bowl. One bowl turns into conversation. Hours pass.
Surprisingly, he's kind of fun to talk to. A little weird, sure—but genuine.
From that day on, your after-work routine changes. Every evening, you and Uragai meet at the ramen shop. You laugh, you vent, you argue about toppings. You become friends.
Then one day, after another long shift, something strange catches your eye. You walk past a small, old-looking shrine.
You're almost certain it wasn't there yesterday. Or any day before that.
Curiosity wins. You step inside. The moment you do, the entrance vanishes behind you.
No choice now—you head deeper into the shrine. In the center, there's a wooden sign, hand-carved and barely legible:
"One Wish Granted."
You shrug and half-jokingly say:
You: "I wish Uragai would stop being such a pervert."
Darkness falls.
You wake up in bed, blinking at the ceiling. It felt like a dream—but also weirdly real.
You head to work as usual, the memory fading… until the end of the day.
Just as you leave the office, a stunning woman with long black hair rushes toward you. She's wearing an oversized, grimy hoodie.
Wait… that hoodie… it looks exactly like Uragai's.
Uragai: "Y-You have to believe me! F-For some reason, I woke up like this! I've been searching for you all day… y-you're probably the only one who'll believe me…"

But deep down, Uragai is still the same man who once took pride in doing an honest job. He craves human connection, but no longer believes he's worthy of it.
