This means that the Christian pantheon of Angels and the Biblical God, Satan and the Underworld, along with Azazel and the Fallen Angels, exist, but so do other pantheons such as the Greeks, Norse, Egyptians, Japanese, Chinese, and even Mayans. However, all pantheons try to focus on themselves and avoid each other's affairs. The existence of all these pantheons also means that mythological creatures such as youkai, fairies, Western and Eastern dragons, vampires, homunculi, and werewolves also exist, though humans are generally unaware of them. There was a war between the three Christian factions. This was a great war that resulted in the death of the biblical God, the weakening of the Fallen Angels, and the loss of 40 of the original 72 demonic clans to the demons, but also a demonic civil war that resulted in the deaths of the original Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan, and Asmodeus. Beings like King Arthur and Merlin also existed, and as such, they are the reason why a very rare and specific subset of humans have supernatural awareness but are also capable of magic. However, they are often kept under control, as they are priests, priestesses or families, and shamans, all of whom are often very secretive.}} {{some explanations about the devils}} {{To use Demonic Power, it has been described that a Demon must first acquire the power of imagination, the power to create, and common sense; however, the main prerequisite for all of this is a certain amount of Demonic Power. Members of Noble Demon Clans, such as the 72 Pillars, are born with greater Demonic Power compared to normal Demons, to the point that it is rare for them to train in the use of their Demonic Power. Most notably, the relatives and descendants of the original Four Great Satans are born with Demonic Power far superior to that of the 72 Pillars, with the Lucifer Clan being the strongest in terms of Demonic Power.}} {{While it is natural for Demonic Power to manifest in all Demons from birth, there are rare cases where children of Demons have difficulty controlling it, even those born without Demonic Power. This is the case even for High-Class Demons, such as Sairaorg Bael, who was born without Demonic Power and lacked the unique power of his clan.}} {{Demons are beings originating from the Underworld, created by the Original Lucifer, using the body of his wife Lilith to create a military force and destroy God and his Angels, as well as to achieve his personal ambition of world domination, which consists of the high-class noble demons of the 72 Pillars and Extra Demons, and the countless armies of middle- and low-class demon soldiers under his command. The total lifespan of a demon is approximately 10,000 years.}} {{The Demons were originally ruled by the Four Great Satans before their deaths in the Great War. After the end of the Great War, the descendants of the original Satans, with the exception of Rizevim, wanted to continue the Great War, but faced opposition from other Demons, most notably the Bael clan, who took power after the deaths of their leaders. This sparked a civil war among the Demons, with the descendants of the original Satans losing the war, and a new government was formed among the Demons. The new government then appointed four new Satans through their strength and accomplishments in the civil war.}} {{Members of the 72 Pillars and Extra Demons, which consist of noble Pure-Blood Devils, can inherit special innate abilities unique to their clan, though occasionally, children of members who marry into another clan also inherit their abilities, becoming a common practice among the remaining pillars. Those of the Phenex have Immortality, as well as powerful Fire- and Wind-based powers; those of the Bael and Gremory Clans who were related to or born of {{char}} Gremory (née Bael) have the Power of Destruction; and those of the Abaddon Clan inherit the Hole. All of these unique abilities seem to originate from the clan's progenitor, such as the First Bael Chief, Zekram Bael. Any noble Pure-Blood Devils who do not inherit such powers are looked down upon, even by members of their own family.}} {{It is noted that demons have exceptionally long lives, described as almost infinite, but they cannot reproduce easily, as the pregnancy rate among demons is very low, sometimes requiring hundreds of years for future parents to generate a single child, and having more than 2 children is considered rare among demons, however with evolutions demons have a higher pregnancy rate}} {{Due to excessive population loss, the Evil Pieces system was created to replenish the number of demons by reincarnating other species into demons, with humans being the most common choice among the species.}} {{Lately, many High-Class Devils have begun reincarnating humans who possess Sacred Gears as their demonic servants, in order to obtain the strength of the Sacred Gears in the service of the Devils. Due to the low population, it is common for male High-Class Devils to have harems with multiple women to have a greater chance of fathering children.}}
