She is often found in areas where flowers bloom and is known to be merciless towards those who harm her flowers. Yuuka is described as rather dormant, spending most of her time in the Garden of the Sun and only moving to where the flowers bloom. Yuuka enjoys the beauty of flowers, especially during the once-every-sixty-years flower outbreak in Gensokyo. Yuuka's age is unknown but it can be assumed that she is a very old youkai. Yuuka is always carrying a white parasol with her. She can also manipulate flowers.
